Men in shorts.Why !
ОтветитьPure and absolute addiction. I became a 'digger' quite by accident. Unqualified but conversant in the art thanks to an errant professor and a professional Archaeologist for a wife (RIP Sweetheart).
Ответить"Not a sausage Tony!" Lol!
Ответитьjenny screech and violet..😲😯🥱🥱
ОтветитьYou know that there will be some absolutely befuddled archaeologists 1500 years from now when they find the cremation of a pig that was obviously a really good digger in life.
Makes you wonder how many weird shenanigans went on in the past and if that might explain some of the more unusual and unexplained archaeological finds we've had.
Can't belive they didn't pour one out...
ОтветитьFantastic episode!!! Tim and the production team deserve a lot of credit, this one has some of the best directing, cinematography, and writing of any episode!
ОтветитьLove Matt's Kingdom of Loathing shirt.
ОтветитьGotta laugh, can we have Matt in there.
ОтветитьRacsha(sorry if misspelled) is the coolest person on Time Team Tony is cool but she is more
ОтветитьThis is (to my mind) one of the very best from the original crew on Time Team; the only Archaeologist missing in this episode is the ebullient, Bridget Gallagher.
ОтветитьYou should allow more ameteur detectorists on each field, We would be happy to search and just Flag sites of a possible find, then your professionals could dig the flag
We do not want pay or reward, our reward is to detect and have a day out detecting
For me, TR is the only TT presenter 😊❤ ... and the original archaeologist 🔬
ОтветитьMick🌈sweater ✔️
ОтветитьIm in America, and ive done the same thing many a days... Lol.😊
ОтветитьWell done, Phil! Wow! What a find!
ОтветитьI live a rack of pork ribs with some alcoholic sauce.
ОтветитьAbsolutely loved how Rakshah rather sheepishly asked if she could take Matt with her to the after life. So absolutely cute.
ОтветитьThe only improvement to lolling a sundae away watching Time Team in bed would be a good pot of tea in the AM and a couple of bottles of half decent plonk for the PM.
ОтветитьI think this might have been the very first episode I ever saw.
ОтветитьLove the continuing theme of poor Raksha being killed/buried in every time period 😂
ОтветитьLeicestershire is Anglian/Danish, not Saxon or Frisian. I realise that in speech, Anglo-Saxon gets shortened to 'Saxon but it's wrong. The English are mostly Danish and Frisian; they aren't all Saxons. 450 CE would most likely be Jutes.
ОтветитьDad to see 2000+ years of culture destroyed in only a few years by globalist politicians
ОтветитьI hope they left that urn in the field for a bunch of archaeologists to find in 800 years, just to flummox them. 🙂
ОтветитьSomeone should go through every episode and count up Mick's striped sweaters. I've seen 6 different ones, but I bet there's more.
ОтветитьShe Was A Good Woman Fast Of Trowel And Quick With A Shovel. ⚱️⚘️
ОтветитьThe start of this episode that mentions field walking brings back memories for me of doing some myself. It was in the far past, and a long, long way way from Leicestershire, it was in the 70's and in the Australian outback and it answered the question that the boffins were asking.
ОтветитьGood evening. And a kind greeting to all who appeared in this documentary, especially the presenter of. Proposing, managing and delivering information in a creative way. Greetings from Iraq
ОтветитьI love watching Time Team!! So informative and entertaining. Thank you!
ОтветитьActually imitating your own burial is kinda creepy 😬
ОтветитьOnly watched one of the most recent - new hosts do not show any where near the enthusiasm and interest as Tony always did😒
ОтветитьIs there anything more frightening than an English Man in short pants 😁
ОтветитьGotta ask, Who dresses these people, Tony dresses like a second hand shop reject.
ОтветитьOde to Rapshaw!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Ответитьso happy tony is back
ОтветитьHow wonderful to hear the Anglosaxon spoken at the end!
ОтветитьThis is maybe the best time team l have watched because of one thing, Phil's love of what he does so well, his enthusiasm, his passion and his knowledge are a sight to see, watching him work so carefully with the brooch was an honour,
ОтветитьHistoria est magistra vita 😺
ОтветитьPoor Raksha, a living witness to her own cremation!
ОтветитьInformative, educational, interesting, enlightening and entertaining, what more could one ask for? One of those pork batches please, history aside that roast looked amazing. Time team is a great example of what the original organisers of the BBC had in mind for public television not soaps and terribly scripted, so called, reality shows.
ОтветитьStill can't believe Mick the dig went ape after the last episode and killed everyone except TR who only survived because Phil finished off Mick with a trowl before he could lower the scoop to Toneys level.earned Phil a.postumous George Cross
ОтветитьI do love a good Anglo-Saxon brooch …
ОтветитьNOBODY ASKED ME IF THEY COULD TURN MY COUNTRY BLACK
ОтветитьI thought I'd seen every saxon episode
ОтветитьGrave Robbers
ОтветитьWhen they speak of "cleaning up" brooches - such as the splendid equal armed one found here - it bothers me that they never mention any examination for mineralized textile remains. Such brooches are one of our major sources for information on early textiles.
ОтветитьFantastic episode
ОтветитьI love how the excavator driver is wearing a suit. 😂
