More like the buyer was going to build another AIrbnb.
ОтветитьSometimes both sides are wrong
ОтветитьAfter what those people have gone through over there I don't blame the. For what they are doing
ОтветитьHoly moly, I was going make one comment but everybody here already tinking da same ting😂🤙🏽.
We not buying it!!!
God bless you Hawaiians and Hawaiians at heart 🤟🏽
Love how people want to "help" residents (locals) by buying up the land then making money off of them until the rents are so high they have to leave Hawaii.
ОтветитьLooks like a homeless encampment.
ОтветитьWhite dude... talking about stealing land... Make it make sense.
ОтветитьIn 2008 so many local families homes went to foreclosure and were bought up by the truckload by mainland interests. Where was the government then? They know which backs to scratch so they can get theirs scratched too. All the high rise condos are owned by outside entities. Big companies buy up all the land and rent or lease at a huge markup which is why people and local businesses struggle to make any progress here.
I'm curious to know what percentage of land is owned by people who don't even live here?
Usual suspect In Hawaii....white
ОтветитьSo
Ответить90% of locals have no mortgage, no deed, no paper work just hear say or family legacy. You better get a lawyer and paper trail or you will end up with nothing.
ОтветитьI lived on the Big Island for nearly three years and this level of hostility toward "haoles," real or assumed, rings a very familiar bell.
ОтветитьCorruption. Realtors have forgot or they just don't care that the lands they're selling are illegally occupied stolen land period! January 17th, 1893. Look it up, Genocide and human rights violations to the Native Hawaiian People. Truth and Fact's.
ОтветитьYa... because anyone believes his BS... The people of MAUI need to stay strong and vigilante of the main land scammers
Ответитьthat beach has had squatter beach rights to locals for years...
Ответитьwhat does that guy with the red shirt and hair extensions mean.."these people"
ОтветитьLeave "Those People" Alone!.. Western America is Better anyway fools 😅
ОтветитьI live on the mainland and have been told many times by locals to not visit Hawaii. They don't want us there
Ответить"...because we've been taken advantage of for so long." Elections have consequences, homie. On another note, it looks like Hawaiians (in these comments) still blissfully enjoy throwing racist terms around. I wonder how they'd feel if they were called something racist while on the mainland...?
ОтветитьMust not like diversity
ОтветитьSure I believe he was going to build a modular home for displaced victims who are illegally taking possession of the beaches. Bs meter off the charts
ОтветитьShould have done it to stop Oprah, Larry Ellison and other billionaires buying up huge tracts of Hawaii land. That kind of land-grabbing behavior maybe legal, but it does not make it right.
ОтветитьThat spot there has been squatted on for years by the people that live across the street. It's been used as an unofficial/illegal boat ramp, picnic area, etc. The people that lives across the street like to claim it's their property and won't let anyone else use the area. I doubt the buyers were planning to built homes for the displaced fire victims....Kahana really?!? That's a prime real estate location worth millions. Let's not kid ourselves, they were planning to built more vacation rentals. I don't care for people who do not own the land, try to intimidate others so that they can use it for their own private personal use. I use to dive that area and the guy across the street would try to lay claim to that beach area when people just want to hang out on the beach.
ОтветитьMaui gatta clean up that camp. Potential fire hazard
ОтветитьI visited Maui once and found the locals to be quite mean.
ОтветитьMore POOR LITTLE ME! We've beeb taken advantage of for so long, what a crock
ОтветитьThis attitude is funny, the locals don't have to sell their property in the first place.
ОтветитьI'm a mainland or I've been to your beautiful islands.
I'm sad to say what I've seen you guys just keep stamping back. Take back your islands take back your island your homeland yes I know tourism dollars need to come in but it is a mess over there take back your lands.
Oh well , go home .
ОтветитьLahaina strong !! Go home kooks. No property sales to “haoles .”
ОтветитьBUMS
ОтветитьWhat? How have The People been "taken advantage of for a long time"? ...
Example...
By whom?...
I hope the Long time resident Real Estate Agent stays safe. It seems like there are some bad attitudes walking around Maui these days.
That’s because the local people in Maui are tired of being treated like 4th class citizens. Any kind of development while people are still homeless is probably going to be met with hostility. Also I can almost guarantee these developers had/have no plans on turning a million dollar property into housing for displaced residents. This isn’t news. This is just the same old song and dance.
Ответить"Sell an empty lot here in Kahana to a potential buyer from the mainland who wanted to use it to house fire survivors" 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
Ответитьdeadbeat dad looking slime ball hoalie go home
ОтветитьHe is a slimeball real-estate agent
ОтветитьThe peace of Christ surpasses all understanding. I pray that the people of Maui would find peace in Christ.
ОтветитьDoes the realtor even have the right to sell this land?
ОтветитьYeah I'm sure they wanted to buy a multi-million dollar beachfront property to help the locals. Nice try, but we ain't buyin it
ОтветитьBy “house fire survivors” he means build vacation rentals and charge Red Cross or FEMA 8 grand per family to stay until the money runs out. Then turn them into full time vacation rentals with no garage or storage for families. They do it everywhere. It is an old developer trick the Japanese started doing in the 80’s. No one from the mainland is coming here out of the kindness of their hearts. I’m sorry but that is just how the world works. The more they promise, the more they are set to gain from it. Be very weary of any outsider that claims to want to help by buying beachfront property. They will also start non profits and trusts with Hawaiian names to make these purchases like Zuckerberg did. It is all for greed and all for their own personal gain. People with that kind of money did not get it by helping other people. They got it by working very hard to put themselves ahead of everyone and everything else.
ОтветитьHawaii was a developed independent nation with a military and beautiful infrastructure prior to its annexation. Guess who they put in charge? Pineapple man, Dole and other missionary descendants looking to increase profits and limit the Hawaiian Nation’s ability to tax their earnings. People act like Hawaiians were all living in huts on the beach like other Pacific Islanders. Not the case.
ОтветитьLocal people are upset and struggling. Give em a pass.
ОтветитьWite people get out our island
ОтветитьHe was trying to buy land to build a home to house people displaced by the fire. What is the problem with that?
ОтветитьThat particular strip of property could not be built on due too being too close to the ocean.
The same thing happened in Lahaina on that thin strip of land just north of Mala.
BS the locals are open minded
ОтветитьThat home is great, very spacious. the washing machine works in the garage.
ОтветитьMahu's
ОтветитьAs a Maui resident, I can tell you that the so called “Hawaiians” are Pilipino’s. Much of money being sent to Lahaina is used to fund the take back Hawaii efforts.
The locals / Hawaiians are taking and taking from loving people as well as the government, all the meanwhile plotting against the loving people trying to help them. Maui is ridiculously racist.
With that said, Maui is a wonderful place to live. Once you accept the racist undertones, it’s a great place to live. Look up the news about Maui Strong on the internet and you will see what I say is all correct.
In the end Maui is overall a great place.
