Baldur's Gate 3: How to Defeat Grym the Forge boss EASILY - Grymforge Boss

I just had my ranged characters on the bridge above the forge and had gale ray of frost him and leave combat on loop until he died. Got the achievement for it too

+ u can use fire resistance potion called Elixir of Fire Resistance wich is UP until long rest + mage shield before battle and other concetrate spells UP. Elixir u can use 1 on all of your charracters on group by place them in square close as possible to each other and drop elixir on ground -> move between them and shot with bow wich will make errupt of elixir and it will be applied same on all. + If u will place this elixir into fast action bar it will duplicate -> u can use him on character who hold elixir after u shot it down on rest 3 of yours chars in group ...wich means u will use it twice but u need only one

why did the boss jump to the left tho... there was no one and he goes after me every time... no way to get him in the right direction the second time...

Beat this fight on the second try. Gave my level 6 Paladin and Karlach some hammers and had them stand right where Grym spawns. Shadow and my Bard character buffed from the backline and I spawned in the spirit weapon for the maul right before the fight as well. Then, after I hit the magma wheel, the two frontliners just smacked him over and over again in the magma till he died. I wasn't able to aggro Grym away from my Paladin, but she lasted 3 whole turns before going down and it was enough to finish him off the next turn with Karlach. I was level 6 for the encounter which helps, got good rolls on my attacks and damage, but I managed to only take damage on my Pali (Karlach managed to dodge every earthquake). Didn't even realize he summoned adds and didn't bother with the hammer since it seemed like a headache to lure him all the way to the middle and pounding on him with hammers almost worked on my first try.

the forge leaver hammer doesn't even wanna work for me :(

Thanks. I'd just add that you need to keep your other characters away from Grym because they will hit them too even if they are not the current target.

I always pick up firewine and oil barrel. Finally used it on this boss. Superheat the boss. Drop the barrels stacking up and fireball. Kaboom

I can only pull the level 1 time :(

i literally did not know about the hammer technique... so i whittled him down with a few damage each turn... good to know for next time i guess :')
