What is with zul farak did they nerf the gold ?

mote of shadow should only drop from void creatures, not every demon. it got changed in an early tbc patch. Patch 2.1.0 (2007-05-22): Motes of Shadow now primarily drop from void creatures and have been removed from nearly all demons. Enraged Fel Sparks now properly drop Motes of Fire instead of Motes of Shadow.
