I find Sonic 1 romhacks so weird, especially ones like Megamix which were designed by one of Mania’s dev teams, since a lot of them technically leans or is just pirating the original game but with something changed. Like being able to play as Charmy in Sonic 1.

So the American one is the Mega Mouse, and the Japanese one is the Sega Mouse? Considering how the Japanese console is called the Mega Drive, it would make more sense if the names were the other way around.
