There are so many instances in book 2 where Jun Wu tries to convince Xie Lian not to associate with Hua Cheng even though he'd never do anything to him and it always reminds me of Mother Gothel gaslighting Rapunzel

I lust love this animatic so much! I've watched it too many times by now. The expressions are so well drawn! You can clearly see Xie Lian is uncomfortable and that Jun Wu is kind of mocking him. It is just so on point I love it!
