Diversity is weakness so who cares about that?
ОтветитьWhat about black flies? Do you have them?
ОтветитьThe only thing I can say is keep NH right wing and you will always think in your right mind.
ОтветитьLate to the party, my wife and I have lived here since the mid 1970s, having grown up in the Chicago area.
1) We were looking to move to a more rural area. Our first though of course was west but rural areas there are really rural, neighbors may be miles away. NH being settled prior to the automobile individual towns tend to have different personalities rather then the post WWII urban sprawl I experienced growing up. Needing to have a car is an issue but at least for us finding a place to park it is not a problem. Something you did not mention that came as a surprise to us flatlander was the NH road system is a function of topology and old Indian paths.
2) People tend to complain about the cold here in NH. Growing up in the Midwest it was colder and had less snow. If you live in a location with four seasons more snow and less cold is hard to beat. Although I have to mention with things warming up winters now often consist of less snow and more ice because if it rains during the day it freezes over night making getting out an about interesting. I spent 4 years of military service in hot areas, prior to that I had not really thought about how much I enjoyed the seasonal change.
3) I think appreciation of history tends to come with age. Growing up in the Midwest not much predates the 1871 Chicago fire. The cornerstone on the building my father worked at was dated 1921. For me that may have been as old as the Egyptian pyramids. As you said in NH history is more alive and old buildings are being actively used so that is interesting for my wife and I but our children are pretty oblivious to local history, their lives are focused looking to the future.
All in all we are happy we moved to NH and our two children continue to live in the state.
I am team pro. I escaped Ma. 30 yrs. ago and and I like the boonies. Oh, our gun laws are great if you like that.
ОтветитьYou didn’t mention all the tick that you can get Lyme disease, people in that state are crippled from Lyme disease, So if the tick don’t get you the property taxes will
ОтветитьWhat about social security? Is it taxed?
ОтветитьLegitimate Info! Great content - keep up the good work - (shout out from SANDOWN!)
ОтветитьNH VT and Maine on average get the most snow in the nation each winter. Some years we have a Spring in NH, others years we don't. Summer and Fall in NH are great but let's not understate how awful winter can be in some years. Waking up super early before work to snowblow 6-12 inches of heavy wet snow out of your driveway several times a week for three months straight? Yeah, that's a thing in NH. Wearing winter clothes until the end of April because it's still cold and windy every day.....some years other years no. the political climate in NH is getting worse every year too as transplants from blue states come here to ruin what was a once great state. Machester has been turned into an absolute dump by Joyce Craig and now there's serious consideration for her as governor. How stupid can NH voters be? Hate to say it but when our kids are done school and we can retire we'll be leaving NH behind for good.
ОтветитьNh beaches suck. Hampton is basically NH's impression of the Jersey shore. Maine beaches are much better.
ОтветитьLack of die-versity is an excellent thing.
ОтветитьWe are considering moving there and upon researching, the only cons I’ve seen is property tax and maybe high cost of housing
ОтветитьJust came across this video. Spent most of my childhood and life in NH and it will always be home in my heart. Because of that I say this... I HATE RACISTS LIKE YOU!!! Please by all means show your viewers the laws, legislation, policies or regulations that tell non white people they can't move to NH. I think you will find that there are no such things in place and the people that do or do not live in NH do so by their own choices. I f#%$ing can't stand anti-white racist assholes like you. By your own comments, you are encouraging people to NOT move there because of their skin color. You actually encouraged people to move to Mass. because there is more "diversity" there. YOU SHOULD NOT MAINTAIN A REAL ESTATE LICENSE. I will be sending a complaint to your broker and an official complaint the New Hampshire Real Estate Commission. People who feel and talk like you, about skin color, should not have any role in who gets to or not get to buy a house in NH. All racism should be condemned.
ОтветитьLol diversity . Who gives a shit ?
ОтветитьIf you Homeless Manchester is your home. A loooot of homeless here sleeping in parks they shit where ever drugs and if you walking Dog be careful you dog don’t find a Needle 💉😏
ОтветитьWife and I born and raised in NH, then lived all over the country while in the service. Retired back to NH because we didn't find any place else that was nicer! Best thing about NH is the weather--by the time you are bored with a season, the next one is starting. Thanks for your videos.
ОтветитьWe are moving to Littleton in less than one year.🎉
ОтветитьTell me about your lightning bugs, please
ОтветитьTeam PRO. WHY??? It is beautiful, friendly people and the history/older homes.
ОтветитьOk, so. Being a person on Disability and living in "affordable" housing with heath insurance from Medicare and MassHealth NH doesn't seem friendly to me. But if your still healthy and working for a living NH seems to be Heaven in my book. Wish I could work I'd move out of Communist Massachusetts and live up North for sure. Just have to remember the leave the Baystate thinking in the Baystate.
ОтветитьDO NOT move to MASS. Don't do it. It sucks
ОтветитьThank for posting video, looking to buy and hear that I should not buy in Manchester NH due to high crime rate ? Which are the “good areas “ of Manchester?
Ответитьthe oldest part of the country is San Juan, Puerto Rico and St Augustine, FL
ОтветитьWhat you guys call a heat wave we consider a nice day here in Texas! lol
ОтветитьHi Jenn, We've been thinking about moving to New Hampshire for several years and have found your videos very informative. We recently found a very nice house in Kingston that we have under contract. Maybe we'll see you around. Thanks again and best
ОтветитьI'm so excited to move there in a few years. We bought 5 acres in Thornton with the intention to build our dream house there when my husband retires from the USAF. I can hardly wait!!!
ОтветитьIm living in NYC and currently working on moving to NH and so far there are no cons about NH to me compared to nyc.
ОтветитьI love New England. I’m planning a move to Canterbury, NH. I’ve taken multiple road trips to New Hampshire all the way from south Florida. I’ve been all over the place. There’s only 13 states I haven’t been to yet. New England, is such an adorable region. I can’t see myself calling any other place, Home! New Hampshire is where the heart is.
ОтветитьBeing less diverse in NH is a wonderful plus.
Ответитьlovely information. I screamed on top of my voice the minute u mentioned Robert Frost. We are moving to New Hampshire.
ОтветитьI'm coming to new Hampshire in roughly a year I've been homeless since march 4th and most likely will be when I get there but I'm going to scratch and claw my way back to the top I'll either get a house with a fha loan and down payment grant then refinance after a few years and I build that credit back up or I'll get a apartment I'm also planning on working custodial for the school system or one of the hospitals
ОтветитьSo ok they are old homes which of those homes are haunted?
ОтветитьWhat is a mudroom?
ОтветитьNah because from what I hear from my grandmother Massachusetts is going in the way of New York slowly
ОтветитьStay away from New York city funerals are pretty expensive
ОтветитьWho do you back for college football? College football is so much better than the NFL.
Ответитьi love your videos. team pro all the way. would you do videos on living in the mountain regions? Sandwich, Conway, Lincoln and other smaller mountain towns?
ОтветитьJust secured rent in Manchester. Big move from Wisconsin to NH. Your videos were so helpful. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьPro New Hampshire, although I do wish the property taxes were lower.
ОтветитьSo far I haven't heard any cons....
ОтветитьOh, I love old houses!
ОтветитьTeam PRO! Grew up in upstate NY...miss the beautiful season and even the cold weather =)
ОтветитьHi there ! A simple question. i'm a french canadian living near montreal ,Québec. Is new hampshire a welcoming state? I'm thinking of moving there in the near futur . 😊 thanks.
ОтветитьHi, thank you for the videos. I do enjoy them. I've always had a thing for the New England area and the history there; Also, always wanted to live in an older home one day. I'm from Ohio - born and raised. I'm waiting to get out of the service and start over. I want to leave Ohio, but I don't want to leave Ohio haha! But with what I've been looking up and reading, NH seems like a great place to live that other states need to follow!
ОтветитьTeam Pro! NH rocks! Love this. Thank you
ОтветитьNH is terrible. Worst place to live on Earth. No one should move here. Please stay away. 😉
ОтветитьI am def on team pro.Looking to purchase after Feb 2022....I am praying I can find what I am looking for.I have a 17 year old who was accepted into Keene State and I can't wait to sell and get there
