So the IPhone 11, not the Pro, has a 2x Optical reach which is 54mm but if you an an additional 58mm the focal length has been doubled up to 112mm which surpasses the 77mm reach of the Pro Tele. This is confusing because the math leads to the greater value not a lower value of just 58mm.
ОтветитьAlways like your video always love your work brother God bless you brother assadali from Kenya Mombasa Africa
Ответитьthe difference bet6ween f1.5 and f2.8 to most every day users is almost nothing...
Ответитьjust too long
ОтветитьVery informative video. Personnally, the reason I’m now only using my iPhone 14Pro for photography, is the fact I always have it on me and I don’t have to lug around extra lenses. So I’m not about to look for other lenses to install on my phone before taking a photo. I do with what I have and surprisingly, I manage.
ОтветитьGreat video!! I agree with you!!! But … what About filters ?? A VND coulomb bê cool tô have… which one you recomend… differents mounts… differents way of attaching them….
ОтветитьI have a Motorola Stylus. It has great quality for video. However, it stuggles to zoom in at a distance for example videoing wild birds.
ОтветитьI have a set of Insignia lenses, which included a Macro , Wide Angle, and Fish Eye lenses. I shoot mostly still images, and the most frequent lens I use is the Macro. The kit only cost about $40.00 and also include mini tripod and remote shutter button. it is in no way professional grade lenses but I am happy with the quality.
ОтветитьI use my iPhone 12 Pro Max for bodybuilding shows to update to Instagram quickly. The 2.5x lens is relatively fast at f/2.2 and refused to upgrade as the later models had slower telephoto lens.
ОтветитьWhat about the 12 pro??
ОтветитьIs it really worth? Sharp pic?
ОтветитьYour talking about i phones but not about androids
ОтветитьGreat advice, thank you
ОтветитьFor those prices, just buy an old mirrorless camera, like the Lumix gx85 or the gx8, or a newer Canon m50 mk2
ОтветитьHow far does your phone have to be from you if you want to use the moment 58mm lens over the standard iPhone lens to get a talking head type shot (so it looks like the talking head shot here)? Anyone know?
ОтветитьIphone is only smartphone which scores reflections during low light .Any1 who dont like reflections needs low light lens .
ОтветитьNot every modern phone has 3 lenses - my iPhone 11 only has two and I want to know if a telephoto lens is worth the cost ? I'm looking at taking my iphone on holiday rather than my DSLR - its only real drawbacks are the green spot glare in video when shooting in bright light, especially concert footage, and the lack of a telephoto lens
ОтветитьThanks for this! Any recommendations on a lense for iPhone 11 Pro Max for a sporting team sizzle vid
Ответить¿Algún yankee que no haga videos exclusivamente para iPhones, hay?
Ответитьwhat about ND filters for too much light
ОтветитьGreat advice!
ОтветитьNews flash. Not everyone owns an Iphone 13. All information excludes everyone else.
ОтветитьGood photos existed before digital anything.
ОтветитьHello i want to know pls what the best app for iPhone lenses for free? And how can i change the screen after make video with the anamorphic lens for that it will look like cinematic screen.
ОтветитьThe details and the knowledge of photography terms are great. Thanks a lot
ОтветитьMy god, his channel name is Content Creators
Just need to put this "™️" after the channel name for the icing on the cake
Anamorphic is a fun additional lens. But the most useful hands down is a macro. Obviously a specialty lens, but no pseudo macro mode really compares. It's absolutely a wonderful tool
ОтветитьAre smartphone camera lenses worth it ? Absolutely. I was looking for information about iPhone Pro own lenses and found this review. I saw that I've posted a comment 9 months ago. I am an ENG cameraman and was just beginning my adventures in the world of lenses and mics for my iPhone 13 Pro at the time . This is what I've learned since then:
Moment and Sandmarc lenses are second class. Lenses do make a difference but go for Beastgrip or the new Shiftcam when available. I bought Sandmarc, Moment, Beastgrip and Shiftcam tele lenses. Beastgrip and Shiftcam were CLEARLY better than Moment and Sandmarc. Shiftcam was as good or better than the Beastgrip 2.0. But I also send the Shiftcam back because it wasn't compatible with ND filters therefore useless for outdoors shooting. But the new Shiftcam Ultra will be compatible with filters when available and I suspect it could be the very best tele lens in the market.
I've been working on a mad review (three months now, much more than 1 TB of footage, 90 minutes of duration cut to about 35 min etc) where I compared the Beastgrip 2.0 with the 1.7 tele using the iPhone 13 Pro. I also compared cam apps.
I shot without lens as well and compared those images with images where I used lenses.
Tele lenses do make a big difference when placed over iPhone's own tele lens . I can not achieve a similar result when using iPhone own tele lens.
Tele lenses also improve the quality of the image when placed over the iPhone wide lens during an interview. But I am referring to Beastgrip lenses, not Moment which are of inferior quality. Also, the cam app makes a big difference. Moment's app is extremely limited, mediocre I would say. Cinema P3, Beastcam or Mavis are much better. Cinema P3 in especial is far better than Moment and I have a large number of very important shooting options that simply don't exist in Moment.
Lenses for iPhone are more than worth having but get the good ones. And use a good cam app such as P3, which I think is the best cam app in the market.
I am very curious about the new Shifcam lenses. I wrote to them last year and said their lenses ( I had tele, anamorphic and ultra wide. The ultra wide was absolutely amazing!) were like birds singing beautifully in golden cages. This because I couldn't attach a ND filter to their lenses and they had a short sighted customer lock-in policy. I suspect the. new line will continue the lock in policy and shooters will be able to use only Shiftcam own ND filters. If this is the case, then they will continue to be birds in golden cages. Unless you have no gear and are starting from scratch. Then it might be worth to get the Shiftcam new line of lenses and filters.
I am also curious about the tele lens from Freewell, which should be released later this year. I've just bought VND filters from the Freewell Sherpa line. I seems to me that the Sherpa VND filter is better than the 62 mm Freewell VND filter. It makes sense. The 62 mm was designed for photographic cameras but the Sherpa was designed specifically for iPhones. I was very impressed with the shooting of a flower using the Sherpa VND filter. I look at the image and feel that I can touch the flower. if the Sherpa tele is as good as the VND filter than I might move from Beasgripland to Freewellland.
The making of my mad review has been going for so long that today I will compare the iPhone 13 Pro with the 14 Pro, using Beastgrip 1.7 and 2.0 lenses and also with no lenses. But that will be the last shooting. Tomorrow I will be sending my 13 Pro to a company that pays really good money for iphones.
I mainly take pictures of cars with my iPhone 12 Pro, do y’all think I should get a anamorphic lense or is there another that’d be better for stills or do y’all think I need one at all?
ОтветитьAnamorphic Lens work on iPhone 11 and will any other Anamorphic lens work because currently out of the one you bought
ОтветитьSo what type of lens do you recommend for video recording.. the zoom on my 13pro compared to Apple products or even the 14pro is drastically different
ОтветитьNice video and great info. I'm not a massive fan of the lines that the anamorphic lens gives when I make my hiking videos, I feel they are too intrusive to the footage, but i do like the 'feel' that it gives, the cinematic feel without the black lines. However, I would like improve my videos with lenses, zooming in without losing the image quality, which one would you recommend? I have a Samsung s20 which I think has decent video quality but not so much when I zoom in digitally. Thanks!
ОтветитьDo you guys know where can I order telephoto lens for A52s? Aliexpress?
ОтветитьAre you using a Moment 58mm Tele lens with a phone for your talking head shot?
Ответитьwhat is going on with those eyebrows?
ОтветитьGreat analysis, thanks. I actually got the blue flare Moment Anamorphic lens for my iPhone 14 Pro because I want to shoot music videos. I was just considering also getting the 58m one but I think what you are saying about the in-phones lenses being good enough will let me spend that $$ on lighting instead. :-)
ОтветитьEyebrow gap is bigger than the skill gap between me and a pro videographer
ОтветитьWhat lense would help with Depth of field and blurred background???
ОтветитьNeeded this! Almost done with the entire vid and I’m READY to purchase what you put in the description! Thank you for this video!!!
ОтветитьThe, iPhone 14 Pro is like night and day
Ответить¡ Espectacular video demostrativo !
Me parece muy aclaratorio, gracias por tu trabajo
A video about if phone lenses are worth it but stating at the start that you will recommend phone lenses at the end... So they're worth it
ОтветитьHow come these add-on lenses don't have aperture blades?
ОтветитьDoes anyone know which brand is #1 in sales for mobile lenses right now?
Ответитьyou are the best , i am learning from you thanks
ОтветитьiPhone 11 camera is horrible. See pixels on photos and vids!!!
