MSFS has always had crap physics. Xplane is a lot more true to life however this video didn’t really show it. But in general xplane is much more realistic with handling then MSFS

Do you do this directly? Obviously, MFS2020 is much better than Xplane 12. You directly find some lame mistakes in that game and put them in, then you say that's the truth. If you don't believe it, buy it. But don't believe the lies.

That video is false if you put mfs2020 in arcade mode, well, of course, put it in realistic mode, everything at its maximum, and we will see the behavior and someone who has used xplane since the first version tells you this.

In this comparison, the two simulators are very poorly configured since the realism and the models are in game mode.

I want to see realistic crash physics, aircraft damage and disintegration, as well as realistic explosions. I would snatch it up right away. I have Xplane 11 with mods but there is no mod for what I want.

Because X-Plane cannot sync real-time weather, I still prefer MSF2020.

The hard landing was better on xp12 in msfs it just weirdly bugged and the position of the nose stayed the same for a few seconds. really unrealistic

Excuse me? Wind goed to xplane, because in real life a plane doesn’t randomly fly away with wind. And the landings xplane won too, because the suspensions and sound that msfs 2020 doesn’t have. So xplane has to take the win.

Man i was an XP player for years , i knew there was other FS but i never tried them, a few days ago i decides to buy MFS 2020 and i was stunned !! I was playing xp 12 and when i entered mfs 2020 i just flipped, like the way the menu is set up , the airplanes the world map quality, the way you can select departure and arrival is just crazy, graphics are crazy. I dont get how some ppl say “ oh but in xp the wings bend different, bla bla bla” bruh , mfs for me is 10000% better , physic and graphic wise. Ive been an xp user for the past 4 years and i gotta tell you , they stayed behind. Mfs is more advanced period.

Hard landing not comparable. High wind - I had older X Plane some years ago and when I tried 172 in wind higher than her normal flying speed, I lost the wings practically immediately after take-off. There is no overstress damage model anymore?

In neither sim if you do a proper water landing it's realistic, but it also depends on the crash settings

If you have crash settings on in MSFS your screen fades to black and the sim prompts you to restart or go to the main menu. In MSFS the only way you can crash is if you and see the "aftermath" is with crashes off and thus not what you showed in the video will happen.

Hard landing test wasn’t in favor of MSF2020 it didn’t sound like hard landing, collision test is also not in favor of anybody, both sims has ghost houses and objects, but the most important thing is VR performance, and that’s where X-Plane shines and beats MFS2020 by far… I was really disappointed in MFS VR mode, even after upgrading the shit out my computer - it still sucks compared to X-Plane….

Why are you comparing a 737 that does not have fly by wire and a plane with fly by wire. The fly b wire is impossible to roll but the 737 theoratically can roll in pilot command but not the a320. thats an unfair comparison

That’s the only thing missing in both games. Physical damage and explosion. This would make msfs2020 amazing.
