Risk got me through COVID. Now Pete is getting me through graduate school. I was introduced to my first game of Risk when I was 13 by my uncle. We started with 5 people was nice and fun learning about the game and looking at all the troops. Then people started dropping, I learned the terrors of staying inside of Australia so many alliances see your enemy across the table drinking orange juice as they causally destroyed your stack of troops. Somehow I had become invested in the game and took things more personally. It lasted 8 hours my uncle and I were the last players. Truly and beautiful game. The way you speak reminds me of that uncle methodical and pleasant, vicious but respectful. Truly happy to see your play. Thank You, Pete.

Well Pete as I can never seem to catch your streams, it’s slow on nightshift tonight so decided to download the AP on my phone and have fixed classic a go. Thanks to watching you I won my first game against 2 expert ais (disconnect and one bot out) two beginners and one expert. I soft gaurded South America most the game as red had Africa and seemed impulsive so he was constantly hitting blue in Europe. Anyways eventually blue enacted the kill Pete strategy on red, pink the Australian guard failed the kill on blue by 1 territory after killing red. I swept in killed blue, mopped up pink for the win! Also holy crap mobile has such a handicap lol. Just wanted to say thanks to all the content and giving me some solid insight in my own game and many more to come

Just found your videos this week. Watched a good 30 of them and decided to begin playing Risk virtually. I have always loved it since my dad introduced me to the game back in '93 when I was 5. Never get anyone to play with irl so I began last night and won my first ever online game! Seeing how you play really came in clutch when my opponent didn't move His troops out and kept them locked and I learned how to stack near edges to strategically mow down those lines.
Keep up the vids, I learn more every time and enjoy it! Hopefully we will meet to play someday on the virtual board.

Fixed > progressive. I hate progressive where I have a rough start and someone just comes gobbles me up once they get their big bonus 😅

I don't get why blue suicides into you as well. Green and black messed with him, but he rolled an 8 into you, as well as his bother your 3 stacks.
