Not only Thanos killed half the universe, he and his black order killed half the remaining asgardian population in the first scene of Infinity War. Valkyrie experienced that first hand, that's why she was nowhere to be seen until Endgame.
Heimdall was killed during that attack, maybe asgardians didn't care about Loki but Heimdall was one of their protectors...

What angers me the most about the movie is the fact that Taika Waititi made one of my favorite movies of all time, Jojo Rabbit which is the perfect combination of comedy and tragedy but then went on to do this piece of shit which I paid money to watch at the movie theater.

This movie could've been so good. Christian Bale was so good in this. Such a waste of a potentially amazing movie. I agree with all the comments saying Christian Bale carried this movie. And even though the movie was terrible, he wasn't terrible in it.

Taika isnt trash. But Marvel shoving his style into every minute of the new movies is too much.

His magic was worked on Ragnarok ,and should have been speckled through the rest. Instead, they took his successful stuff and forced it into the rest of the movie's writing, every scene.

Unbelievable they were able to cast a legend like Bale into this dump. You can actually see the difference in actor quality even with the poor plot and script. He still brings the best performance.

Guardians of the Galaxy 1 was really the beginning of the end for Marvel. That movie was noticeably worse than previous Marvel films, and it was all downhill from there until we ended up at shit like this.

This movie is honestly more disappointing than any Snyderverse movies released. And I've been let down by those movies. This one takes the cake for utterly destroying its own potential with misplaced jokes and overall lame direction. Don't even get me started on wasting the massive talents of Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, and Russell Crowe on half-asses storylines.

This movie should have only been about Thor and Gorr. And the fact that we only see 1 god get killed like wtf. Don't tell us they got killed we already know that, show us it happening!!!!!

This movie reminds me of a phenomenon that happens in manga and cartoons where the author creates something but don't understand exactly why it was so liked so they crank it up to eleven all those things that they thought people liked.
Which end ups with a butchered abomination that feels like a parody of the original work.

All this comments talking about the Ice-cream shop yea i get its like if they had a pic of hitle but didn't they undo what thanos did

In the MCU canon, why the hell would they make an ice cream shop themed around the infinity gauntlet?! That thing was used to literally MURDER HALF THE UNIVERSE. Sure, they were brought back after 5 years or whatever, but the immense suffering that occured in that time is made light of?

Using the Infinity Gauntlet as a symbol to open an ice cream shop would be like using a Swastika to open a pizza chain.
And honestly, no one would be sad if they killed off Fake Valkyrie right then in there in this movie.

After digesting the first shock the rewatch was actually quite entertaining.

The thing with the mighty thor part was that she both earned, proudly wore and hated that she held that title because she knew she was worthy but in doing so constantly showed how the person that she loved wasn't allowed to be any more. She understood that being thor is awesome but that the responsibility that the name brings is often a curse because of expectations.
