That night look gives me spirited away vibes
ОтветитьThis video was gorgeous, i really want to do this hike now!
ОтветитьHi Norm. Because of this video, my wife and I went to visit this amazing area of Japan 3 weeks ago and stayed in Magome-Juku for 2 nights and also hiked to Tsumago. That was the highlight of our trip and we will keep the memory for ever. Just came here to thank you for the amazing content . We felt the energy of this place as you express in this video. thank you
Ответитьwhats the title for the flute bgm?
ОтветитьI walked a section of the Nakasendo Trail this past spring. What a great experience! I highly recommend it to everyone. Thanks for the video :)
ОтветитьJan 8, 2024, and I've been out sick with covid since 12/28. Your videos have been keeping entertained so far. Thank you, Norm! 😊😷
Ответитьdude, I love these videos. The music, sounds and cinematography fill me with emotion. Wonder, desire, whimsey? I can’t pin point it, but great job Norm 😊
ОтветитьBeautiful, and very well chosen music. The very sounds accentuate your appreciation. Thanks for such beautiful and inspiring views! Keep em coming!
ОтветитьWould you recommend this trail now with all the current bear attacks around Japan?
ОтветитьBeer and Eggs breakfast of Champions.
ОтветитьYour excitement is so heart warming. Watching your videos gives me so much serotonin, such a good feeling ! Cant wait to vist Japan again with all your recommendations
ОтветитьI was so inspired by your video, I researched the Kiso Valley and made the trip last month, hiking between Magome and Tsumago with my children. It is incredibly beautiful, even more so in autumn with the red foliage. Thank you for introducing this place which has created wonderful memories for our family.
ОтветитьThe last part (post bicycle) has concluded how magical that trail ia.
ОтветитьThe amount of shots where you placed the camera from behind to catch you walking, you practically walked the entire trail twice in one go!
ОтветитьHow many hours you hiked?
Do you know if its ok to hike by February? I am planning to do that next year! Thank you for this video. I will use this as reference. ❤
❤ thanks Norm for all the wonderful videos! I honestly feel like I’m in Japan with all of your amazing camera work and editing skills!
Ответитьspray anti bear noted 📍
ОтветитьOut of curiosity, I couldn’t help wondering how many bear attacks happen in Japan? It just doesn’t seem like something that would happen in Japan. Doing a little bit of research it would appear that two people have been killed since April and there have been 158 attacks in 2023 alone. The reason seems to be that they are running out of natural food sources.
ОтветитьI need to start hiding a scooter at the top of my hikes
ОтветитьThis is so beautiful. I just did an amazing hike in New York to see some leaves. Worth the climb up the mountain
Ответить日本人です。恥ずかしながら、初めて馬籠宿に訪れようとしています。
それで見つけたこちらの動画でした。ありがとうございます。
How is this trail during October? Im planning a trip to Japan next October and this is one of the things I really want to do
ОтветитьThe birds looked like swallows not sparrows. So sad to see these towns empty & dying.
ОтветитьI absolutely love the way you presented this. Well done.
ОтветитьMan... that was a beautiful journey. Just recently followed but I've been binging all your videos and all the tiny apartments, this was a nice change of pace haha. Gotta do that trail one day.
ОтветитьThe bear bells remind me of Pavlov's dog expirement.
ОтветитьI'm gonna do this trail next month ❤
ОтветитьI just did this on Wednesday and it was great! Thanks for inspiring my day trip out of Kyoto!! I ended up hiking both ways. But word of this hike has gotten out! There were quite a few foreign tourists later in the day! Just get there early and save exploring Magome for when you get back and you'll be virtually alone on the trail. I mean, aside from the bears 🐻 But I never saw any. Also, there is a tiny detour presently due to a landslide, but it leads you past two little waterfalls. The guy running the tea house at the pass is a hoot!
ОтветитьAwesome video. Your excitement about that hike is slowly convincing me to take a trip to Japan.
ОтветитьWhy the Big F do I have to be born in shit place. The injustice
ОтветитьLoved this video man ❤
ОтветитьLoved this video man ❤

ОтветитьThe atmosphere feels so peaceful 10/10 would visit

Thank you everyone involved in this!!!!
Whenever im feeling depressed i come back to this video 🍃
ОтветитьI remember watching this while I was absolutely wrecked with a fever. Let's say the experience was absoluteley ethereal
ОтветитьI love the music choice on this one. Sounds like Valheim.
ОтветитьWas lucky enough to book a roykan in magome for the end of November :D Do you think fall leaves would still be plentiful around this time?
Ответитьi think you need a partner, for at least ngen*ot on the way.
ОтветитьI've always wanted to go to Japan. I've always worked really hard since i was young teenager with huge focus on developing a strong ethic, but never afforded much more than basic necessities in my 36yrs of life.. "work smarter rather than harder" some might say, but i do that too, I'm a very skilled individual, possibly more skilled than many billionaires. It's just a simple lacking of monetary leverage and base capital that my upbringing didn't have which causes the perpetuation/depreciation of my position unlike if I had a greater monetary wealth starting point I'd be able to multiply that and do progressively better (rich get richer, poor get poorer - fact). That being said.. travel is impossible in my foreseeable future unfortunately. I may be able to afford it in my 50s (if any savings and investments i hypothetically make have a decent return). It sucks being in this position, BUT, I'm thankful that where I live is beautiful enough and if I go to the beach I can be in Thailand or Hawaii in my mind, or when I go for a bush walk and the zacattas are singing, it's no different than walking the Nakasendo trail in summer, minus the bears and beautiful traditional architecture and paths. Watching these videos inspires me and transports me, It's not the same obviously, but its enough. Thank you, I'm very grateful for content like this :)
ОтветитьGood day! Question: How do I buy a bus ticket departing Magome back to the big city( eg Nagoya). Is there a bus station to buy them. Or board the respective bus and pay cash as we arrive/ leave the bus. Many thanks!:)
ОтветитьHi there, thank you for sharing the beautiful video~ I wanna ask if it is safe to have solo hike alone? Especially for a girl? Thanks you!!
ОтветитьA new spot on my Japan Travel list! If it wasn`t for this video I would`ve never heard of this trail and I love hiking! Are the bears dangerous to humans?
ОтветитьWould Love to walk that trail one day.
ОтветитьBig fat pipe dream: retrace some of your hikes and this one is in the top!
ОтветитьThank you! So much
ОтветитьI feel you bro. Take it all in.
