You're now going to have to add Fuji to this as well..lol
ОтветитьThe comparison is completely pointless
ОтветитьWhen saying you're saying magenta i'm thinking you should see some of the panasonic cameras. That's where you see a lot of magenta. Also feels like the your shots are overexposed a bit, not in the wai of missing details, i woulds say the problem is missing shadows. Just my opinion.
ОтветитьThis shows that most cameras won't yield drastic results over others. Things are so close now that nit picking is kinda silly. You should buy based on your budget and other factors like utility, tool set and lenses selections.
ОтветитьFor me it is a stupid discussion about comparing files. Only one thing which matters is which camera gives the most accurate picture. Take those cameras, do the pictures of some fancy car paint and then you will verify which is giving color accurate pictures.
Ответитьgift me one please
ОтветитьI think I like the sony as well
ОтветитьMost people wont have three premium cameras so its not a scenario they are likely to face. It would have been interesting to have seen a premium camera v a much less premium camera - ie Sony a7rv v Panasonic s5 for instance. My guess would be that the panny would give it a run for its money. I may well be wrong but I dont think so.
ОтветитьIf I REALLY have to choose based only on these pics I think I would go with Leica
Ответитьhasselblad the best
ОтветитьNice comparison. Obviously you were comparing different internal processing, as all three chips are very likely from Sony.
ОтветитьI LOVED this comparisons. Thank you.
ОтветитьThis video just saved me a ton of money...
ОтветитьSo basically it's a comparison between Sony medium format sensor, and Sony full frame sensor?
ОтветитьFun video, James, which spurred some interesting debate in the comments section. I picked up my first 'proper' camera at 18 (53 years ago), and am still a hobby photographer, but with an APS-C camera and much less weight than the FF kit I used to drag around. All of those cameras produced nice images, but then, I consider mine does too, probably as I am just taking photos for me.
Ответить2 watchers but the views are double or triple of others 😂
ОтветитьFor instagram food pictures you need at least 100MP Hasselblad
ОтветитьHow much Sony did pay for this video to become a part of comparison together with two photography grands)
Why not to shoot a coloured mire and see when colour science between Hassel and Leica and awful Sony-the-blue-face sensor?)
I want those minutes of my life back...
ОтветитьIt would be interesting if you took out a very light compact Sony and decided whether carrying around a heavy one was worth it.
Ответитьlol all images are the same sh/t
ОтветитьThank you for making this
ОтветитьThere's no more bad camera when you are able to spend this amount of money for a combo body/lens. Fortunately, a good image is above all a picture who tells a story and/or provokes an emotion.
The choice will be made by ergonomics, pleasure to use... and money to spend for this toy.
I’m 1 of the 3! …. x 70k
Ответитьvery pleasant video. i did like your cottage sony'd color but liked the hasseblad's on the other two. i'm not used to seeing leica so warm -- i got canon originally because it was warm, and my later leica 4 gave a neutral to canon's. i buy mostly from MPB, by the way. they're always what they say they are. thanks.
ОтветитьInteresting perspective!
ОтветитьYeah, it seems like a big dilemma among shitty Sony sensors—whether they have more cyan or magenta. A hard choice for Sony boys.
ОтветитьThanks for an enjoyable comparison.
ОтветитьWho would have thought three well-respected, established camera companies all make excellent products? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
ОтветитьThe colour differences are not important as long as you know how to edit the raw photos or if your colour preset is good. If you post the photos on social media like Instagram or view on any small screen, you won't be able to see the differences.
ОтветитьIt would be interesting to see shadow and highlight detail.
ОтветитьI prefer the cool tone of the hasselblad personally, but I know I'm in the minority there as people usually lean to warm tone. Sony is fine for the money.
ОтветитьIt is not just a comparison of the camera´s, but also which lenses are being used. And how much light they led in.
And only when you are there on the spot you can tell which of these camera´s has the best color rendering.
On the glance though Hasselblad seems to have the best lighting. A far brighter picture.
I do not follow you here, first you say it is easy to make the shots look the same then you start edit the shots camera by camera to get the best look from each camera. So if you can get them look the same and you end up with consistent differences between them what is driving you to edit them to different results? As you say your self, it is easy to reduce the magenta so why do you not do it if you think less magenta is better?
I did a similar thing between Olympus OM-1 ( High Res 80MP) and Hasselblad X2D 100C and I was able to come very close to each other but it was way more work with the OM-1 and High Res do not work in all conditions.
Sony files are junk and no where near Sony 😂😂😂
ОтветитьI think my canon r8 it's able to get pretty the same immagine!!
ОтветитьThe question is which one is the most realistic with respect to colour rendition (i.e., most close to the reality as you see with your own eyes)?
ОтветитьI preferred the leica images.
Ответитьcameras are really just about fetishism.
ОтветитьEvery pic looked the same to me 🤷🏼
ОтветитьThe greens look bluer on the hasselblad, in a good way. The sony greens are the most saturated and yellow by far.
ОтветитьI like how this niche video is now at 200k. You underestimate us brokies.
Ответитьhonestly its nice to finally to see people doing the niche videos and not the typical reviews.
ОтветитьHasselblad definitely wins, but the others are incredibly close. I would say 1. Hasselblad, 2. Leica, 3. Sony.
ОтветитьI'm no professional by any means, just a hobbiest. I barely see a difference in all 3. Just very slight nuisances. So that tells me it really comes down to the photographer's photography skills and not so much the camera you shoot with.
ОтветитьI have a clash of sorts that I'd love your opinion on... when I field my gm 24-70 and put a variable ND on the front I'm unable to rig a lens hood, or matte box.... do I just have the wrong variable ND? or if given the choice of hood vs ND which would you prioritize? (I shoot an a7cii &/or FX3)
ОтветитьI would've liked to see some zooming-in (crop) and close-up shots. I could've shot this with my iPhone and come out as a winner.
ОтветитьJust sold my x2d after two months. Noticed the image quality and the colors, yes..but still more happy with my a7rV. And you get more for the money. More lenses, another body. The sony is lighter, more autofocus, modern...better to hold, better to travel with...and a LOT of good primes and zooms to play with. I liked the x2d as well..but I got more for the money with the sony. So sony it is, for now. :)
