Ugh. One of my fave scenes.

This was the nail in the coffin for Carrie's happiness. Big was a terrible partner and I wish her friends never gave him their blessing.

The disgust for Big is palpable. But the girls wisely pur their personal feelings aside for the greater good. They knew Big could “get our girl home”😄

Roam the streets of paris ? Im sure at least one of them actually knew were carrie was staying ? They are the loves of her life afterall?

I loved how Charlotte was the hopeless romantic, Samantha & Miranda thought he was full of s**t.

Watching this scene and then comparng it to this new reboot is like watching them in an alternate universe.

To me the reason why Big is the one for Carrie, with a renewed healthy dynamic, lies in those words: "you are the loves of her life, a man is lucky to come 4th". Of all the men that Carrie loved and dated, Big is the one that truly gets Carrie. He truly sees her, not a fantasy of her.

I hated "go get our girl" ffs it was like they all couldn't wait to prover Carrie wrong and drag her back to NY to a bloke that treated her like shit for years.

I wanted her to say "get the fuck out!" And now that he's fat too 😄

None of her friends told Big she was staying at the Plaza! Big had to roam the streets lolz

What is weird is that Samantha was always a better fit for Big. Age-wise and in terms of non-commitment.

Of course, NOW he can’t live without her and won’t give up chasing her since she’s moved on/with someone else.
Also, I’m sure that they knew where Carrie was staying, so why would he have to run around Paris looking for her?

He was toxic. And yet, not as much as Carrie. Even he was too good for her.

One of the best scenes of the entire series.

They should have kept it at this, I loved the movies because I loved watching the girls, but this was the perfect ending to the show. Maybe it wasn’t that realistic, I’m sure there are many men who are in and out of someone’s life messing them around and in the end they do end up together. It does happen, a lot of the time it doesn’t. I’m glad that’s what they chose to do here and have the girls sit down with Big and Miranda telling him to get their girl. It just showed how much all of them loved her and wanted her back in their lives and back at home with them.

I get chills every time I watch this.

To me this line epitomizes the entire show because at its core it is about the friendships of the four women and NOT their romances. This is probably the reason I didn’t really care for “And just like that.”

I love the contrasting looks of the women when Big comes in the door. Soft-hearted, eternal romantic Charlotte gives him a look of compassion while tougher Samantha and Miranda are wary. And Big himself knows he's in for it.
