Should we make a separate video testing air temperature
ОтветитьI kind of feel like most people should know this regardless of keyboard sound tests. Any sound source will sound different based on its environment.
ОтветитьCould you please redo the whole video while typing slower?
Ответитьwhen the video becomes an ad ffs
ОтветитьProximity effect go crazy
ОтветитьInterestingly enough, I was bursting with excitement during the first comparison. I may have found my ASMR trigger
Ответитьwhat keyboard is that tho
ОтветитьDoes this mean I should buy one piece of every single keyboard switches out there one by one to see my ultimately-preferred switch sound and performance?
ОтветитьDamn i knew it there's no way you can completely remove the spring and clacky sound from the keyboard
ОтветитьThe difference between desk mats is barely noticeable, as far as I'm concerned.
ОтветитьKeyboard specs?
ОтветитьWhich microphone test setup in the video sounded closest the how it does in person when you normally type on it?
Ответитьoh it’s just an ad for a desk
ОтветитьBro you are friggin fast! Holy shit! I thought 107 was decent 😂 damn… I gotta step it up
ОтветитьMic should be 8 to 12 inch since that is how far our ears from the keyboard
Also temperature affects the sound as well
When the room is cold keyboard has a deeper tone
Well sound is a physical consequence, and therefore there are many ways to reduce the sound, including the material of the table, and of course materials of everything. Vibration creates the sound, and thus the sounds are based on how you reduce the vibration.
ОтветитьIf that's really how fast you type you're nuts lol
ОтветитьInterestingly enough, I’ve noticed how things sound super different in person but my iPhone mic doesn’t really pick it up very well. So when I send my wife or friends videos showing “how different” something sounds, they’re like “Cool story bro. I can’t tell the difference.”
ОтветитьThis explains why I find some sound tests with super thocky switches and mods and yet still sound super clacky and different
Ответитьamazing video
Ответитьi literally just take my iPad, start typing, and use the first
one 😂
At the risk of sounding like a total normie, I am always struck by how loud these "dampened" keyboards sound in sound tests. Both my KBs have clicky switches, one with Gateron G Pro 2.0 Blue and the other with Kailh Box Navy). While the Kailh one is certainly quieter than the Gateron, neither are nearly as loud as I see in sound tests, and CERTAINLY not loud enough to overpower music, game or conversation audio.
ОтветитьLove how there’s super chill background music, and then typing in the sound tests goes “BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR”
Ответитьmake video keeb soundtest, but the stupidest thing is show a keeb with different setup at the beginning then show off various mod done on case foam, tape, switch, keycap comparing it to the first and act like it was mindblowing shit
ОтветитьI feel like the recordings that use the "podcast" style microphone exaggerate how good the keyboard really sounds. I notice that they seem to make keyboards sound more "glassy" and "poppy", which sounds really good but it's not realistic. I think the generic microphone on your phone or camera portrays a more realistic sound.
ОтветитьInstant fan and now a subscriber for life. 100% truth has been told. Officially subscribed. I look forward into seeing your videos.
Ответитьcan someone tell me the second mousepad name
ОтветитьJust doing a typing test to see what my board sounds like lol
ОтветитьThis was so helpful! Looking to build my first board and in doing research I was getting hung up on how it would sound once it was built. Thanks!
ОтветитьAlso the dust accumulation in the keyboard
ОтветитьThat's a hobby? Keyboards are hobby now? XD nooooooooooooooooooooooooo
ОтветитьGreat video! I guess my question is, out of all of the variations we just heard, which sounds as close to what you hear irl?
Ответитьwhat about comparing one component to another or comparing one setup to another, just to see the differences one from another using same sound system, same environment ?
ОтветитьI wonder if air humidity also affects the keyboard sound
ОтветитьAh yes; keyboards, the hobby for someone who's too much of a pussy to learn electronics or anything moderately useful, but still arrogant enough to think they're some kind of technology wizard when they slap oily plastic keys into a brick.
𝑰 𝒏 𝒄 𝒓 𝒆 𝒅 𝒊 𝒃 𝒍 𝒆
but for real though keyboard enthusiasts are cringe, get a life.
Omg all this, my keyboard sounds different if the temp in my room is somewhat cooler, and i dont like it. make it sounds more hollow. Been trying to explain this to people..
Ответитьthe iphone audio's difference was MASSIVE. I had no idea this was a thing, thanks for enlightening me
ОтветитьI've seen some ppl who tune their audio to sound close enough irl. gotta appreciate those guys
ОтветитьWhen it comes to keyboard modding and if you want the best mod for you you really need to test everything by buying or testing them out yourself. It's fun! This video proves a point! There's a difference between watching and listening and testing the products, you can have the privilege to compare them! I like Glorious products and Akko switches. I haven't tried other brands yet. Hitting the keys with your own thumbs and fingers can be quite addictive lol. My keyboard is a glorious gmmk pro, fox switches, even the keycaps can make a difference, I use pbt caps, and of course the switch plate of choice is aluminum pre-built by glorious, along with the gmmk pro barebone. They say aluminum isn't so good? but I like it! more than the polycarbonate material. The aluminum plate can make the keys "thocky" but it can be subjective! It's best to experience! Thank you for the video, uploader!
Ответитьso the best keyboard mod is ✨get a new desk✨
Ответитьnah u type way too fast bro
ОтветитьBawhahaha , the keyboard sounds clacky , thocky , creamy , clicky thocky at the same time . Just use a different microphone 😂
ОтветитьCan you please explain the post processing side cuz I started making videos on keyboard for Iraqis I'm Iraqi btw and would love to proved them with the best quality possible.
ОтветитьBro the science behind these videos are crazy. Your hand moves in 300+ wpm 😂
Ответитьfuck, thats an obnoxious keyboard to listen to.
ОтветитьThe thing that would interest me a lot is how loud it would be if you spoke into the microphone during the typing test to give a volume comparison. Like how loud is the keyboard really? If you say hello will it blow my speakers up because the gain is turned way up?
Ответитьof course it wont be exact or true to life. i just want an idea of how clicky or loud something is. if it's not clicky enough its not satisfying, but generally you can tell if its going to be TOO loud
ОтветитьWhat bugs me the most is not the different audio setups it's that something like lube, tends to have a wear in period of about a week where the sound can change drastically. A freshly lubed keyboard can sound drastically different compared to the exact same keyboard after a week of typing and it never seems to get brought up
Ответить
