Humans don't need a computer.

It is completely insane to me how great hand drawn animation can look at high keys and high fps. I'd exchange that for 4K and 3D-BS any time and even pay a premium for it.

The future of Western animation can still be bright, we have to remove the parasitic shareholders and executives who only care about red line go up from the creative process. That will be hard and industry changing but it can be done a few steps at a time, support the screenwriters strike as their win means better shows and movies because it gives them room and experience to write better

The fact that I recognized every single one of them shows how much I loved animation as a child. And I still do but it's getting harder to find good stuff these days

Personally, I would like to know at what point the animation went from that meeting that became an enjoyment for one or more people to a competition to see who makes the most politicized story and closest to the current political establishment speech (woke movement). It is no coincidence that oriental animation, especially Japanese cartoons (or simply anime), are gaining a lot of ground due to the growing lack of creativity and sense of beauty, incompetence in animation schools by teachers, excessive use of the same style of shit, and the exhausting need to make animated comedies for idiots, getting to a point where western animation is mostly a misshapen version of eastern animation.

Look, even in the age of mainly just being corporate and not giving a shit there are still some gold pieces, but not much anymore... It's sad to be honest. Little mermaid ain't black! This thing where they add more races and shit just makes me pissed, stick with the orginial film, just throw in some more lighting effects and such. I'm pretty sure alot of colored people dislike this thing where corporations try to appease literally every group out there..

If you gave aliens all these movies and told them to arrange them from oldest to newest the only thing that can be helpful is wokeness
