I do agree with the general consensus of the majority of the comments towards DID, OCD, or dysphoria but does anyone feel this song could link towards an eating disorder whether or not intentionally? Potentially something like orthorexia, where you start to feel certain foods are now “impure” and feel revolted at the thought of said food resting in your stomach. Or it could relate to anorexia, bulimia, unidentified and so on with the idea of the fruiting bodies being fat or calories, the oil in your skin. The discussion of “my minds eye is defined by contrariety” is a particularly interesting one - eating disorders cause strong internal conflict; you have a physical impulse to get the food your body needs meaning you often think of food but at the same time your mind refuses it, and makes you feel guilty about thinking about it.
