Hello there I have a 2014 Avalon XLE with that seems to have a tug back when shifting down to 37, I’ve been thinking about doing a memory reset to see if this fixes the problem. Has anybody done this or have any other suggestions?

Thank you for the video. My 2014 Avalon Hybrid now has 157,000 miles and is in 'perfect' condition! You are right about the following: ride very stiff...and when cold outside, the sunroof rattles. I have the dealer change the oil every 5,000 miles. You spoke about the radio update... my dealer, God love them, wants to charge me $100 to update so I've never had it done. And, lastly, I would like to have the hybrid battery filter changed, but the car doesn't seem to have this filter! Again, thank you for your videos!

I am looking to buy an Avalon. What is the best year and trim to choose. My son likes the pontiac vibe or toyota matrix
. Which year and trim would you suggest for my son?

Here I go again. I thought I bought the most reliable fun package ever in my 2019 Mazda6 2.5T. Now there's a TSB for a head crack that could end up costing me $6k-$11k. I'm trading the sucker in for probably a 2015 sub-60k mile Avalon. Hopefully this time it really will be the hidden gem on the road. I thought my Mazda was.

I'm buying a 2016 Toyota Avalon limited, 1 owner 52,870 kilometers on it so I'm super stoked to get it. Thanks for you fantastic advice and I love your channel. Can I jack up 1 side to do oil changes or should I jack up both sides?

Hello, I truly appreciate your videos. Very informative.

Can you help resolve a few issues we dislike l with our 2014 Avalon Limited Edition.

1. Rides like a corvette if not worse. Seems like you don’t mention this problem. there seems to be no depth to the front suspension and bottoms out easily on small bumps. Sounds terrible.

2. Road noise. Anything I could do to dampen the sound?

This car only has 53,000 miles. We don’t use it much especially my wife, she refuses to drive the car. Not to mention how uncomfortable it is for the passenger in the front seat.

Is there something wrong with the suspension with this car. You don’t mention the ride quality.

Would you be able to take a look at my car and help me with these two concerns?

I would like to drive this car and see my passengers enjoy the ride. Rather than bouncing.

It’s time for new tires before I do. I fix some tires and rims could help.

Thank you in advance

How about 2019 thru 2022? Are they less reliable?

I bought a 2016 Avalon XLE from a medical courier with 265k. He highway miled the hell out of this car. Checked his maintenance records and he kept up with the record. I’ve had it for 5k miles. Got my first oil change and tire rotation a few days ago. Shifts smoothly and it’s a fast car for its size.

Got a 2015 premium 3 years ago drives like a champ.115 k on the speedo and only has required oil changes every 5000 miles. Gonna do some preventative work on her, hoping to get at least 250000 on her. We'll see

We had have a 2014 hybrid limited and it gets about 500 miles on the estimated ranged really saves a lot on gas even though it not as efficient as our 2014 Prius. Also good to know about the oil burning issue so will not be skipping any oil changes anymore on the every 5k mile’s maintenance services. Better to have enough clean oil vs save only a little bit of money on an extra oil change that sounds like it is needed.

I don't know if I can agree with the reliability of my 2015 Hybrid Limited XLE. However, I do agree it is a great car and drives nice!(original owner and I believe this is the top of the line model) But, at around 80K, hybrid battery was replaced. Today at 170K needs another battery replacement which will cost around $4700 at dealership. I guess I should be happy that I got around 90K miles on the previously replaced hybrid battery? Was expecting more miles on it... Anyways most likely I will still need to get it replaced even if I might be selling or getting rid of the car. I really want to keep this car but considering will drop it another $4k-$5k every 80K-90K miles is not very economical, and kind of defeat the purpose of a hybrid.. Not sure if you guys got higher miles from your Avalon hybrid battery but unfortunately that is the case for me...

Car Care Nut, can the 13-15 ride harshness be improved? What’s your thought on the 2011 model?
