Im 27. Ive never looked at my credit but apperently i have a 750. My boss and coworkers told me to look for a house. I was homeless growing up so is that really a possibility?

I cant believe the government is trillion dollars in debt at the expense of the american tax payer but has the muthafkin audacity to give me a credit score.
Besides now adays..u could have a good credit score and still get shitty rates. This econony is garbage.

Clean up you credit reports. Pay bills on time. Pay credit card balance in full each month. Pay all debts in full on time. Reduce overall debt. I got a perfect score. It’s not impossible but you can’t ha undisciplined or irresponsible. Good luck!

The way I had built my credit score from sucky score to now 825 fast is to pay my cards twice a month and that seems really helps me to where I'm today.

Just got a 6.49 instead of 4.49 because i have a 835 instead of 850. Pissed

Yea Navy federal gave me a really high limit.I applied and was denied at first so I got a Bravenotch on the internet,and I was approved for a capital one.The limit was so small lol but I took it and worked on it.Because if that it helped my credit and I believe that's what made me finally get approved for navy fed with such a high limit. they're still working on increasing the capitals one since it was so low.All in all I'm satisfied.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I USE MY CREDIT CARD? AM I ABLE TO USE MY CARD ONCE I PAY OFF THE BALANCE? OR, DO I HAVE TO WAIT A MONTH FROM WHEN I USED IT?

But when you apply for a mortgage the banks want you to have zero or as little credit cards with the lowest limit’s possible

800 is super, but not perfect. 850 is a perfect credit score.

How is utilization rate calculated on student loans? I have about a 30% utilization rate on traditional lines of credit (credit cards, etc), but I'm not sure how my student loans (currently at around $40k) is factored in.

This works opposite in Australia, where we are encouraged to keep credit limit as low as possible.

Also, collections due to medical bills do not show up on your credit report by law, so they do not impact your credit score.

I already got an 800+ score. I'm trying to get a 900.

What about late payments of 400 to 600 days. I have about 15 accounts that late but my score is going up with credit boost and I did pay a "debt repair "lawyer" which wasn't a lawyer at all but a consultant so I was lied and they did false advertising. Still, I will pay off each charged off account and start fresh with my two credit builder acounts at a credit union, much better than a bank.

I've hit the 850 mark several times in the last couple of years, it will go up and down and once you figure out how it works it's more of a balancing act. Once you hit that mark your score will probably go down if you are clearing your debt but not really getting new credit. They want you to stay in debt, sucks but it's true.

Stuck is the 790s forever. It's fine though, I get approved for just about everything I apply for. I'm not wealthy, just keep things in good standing

800 is NOT a perfect credit score

Easy and short.. make your payments on time.. and don’t overspend.. if you have kids add them to your credit card as a authorized user and by the time they are 18 they would have a perfect score.. I add my kid at 16 now he is 18 he has a 760 credit score
