I remember one time on the center when i was looking for the spot to tame a procoptodon and to be clear i came with NO TAME to help me with the snow and (i was level 23 at the time) i knew procoptodons spawn near the snow so i grabbed my fur armor and went to the redwoods next to the huge water fall and as i went thro a pego stole my chestpiece and i died by a terror Bird and almost had un ugly encounter with a thylo but anyway i remember when i enterd the snow it was not fun and i got chased down by the dire wolfs and had to kill megaloceros for hide so that i can make a bed after a while of seeing the big mammoths being eaten by the yutyrannus i realize kangaroos dont spawn in exact area that or they do and end up dead by dire wolfs. After that some how i think got scared and ran into the edge of the snow biome where under theres this big cave and i found this small piece of land that i can land to then i fall to it that or i fell to it by accident so anyways i realize that i neaded a parachute and that i didnt have the hide for it thats when i stop the game think start thinking about the situation and access it and my plan was to bola a deer get it's hide grab some fiber and thats it (also i found out i could climb up the piece of land and get back up) so i get my shit together go get hide grab fiber and made a parachute then i get more hide for a hide bed incase i found more hostile creatures down under in the same place where you can find dire bears and just plain mammoths but before i could place the bed a yutyrannus who was near the edge aggrod onto me and i panick jump use the parachute and he fell down too. After that i looked around the beutiful area in my parachute and played some music. and when i landed found the yutyrannus dead with a wooly rhino next to him. 1 carno also fell and he was still alive by the time i landed and also found a kangaroo who i tamed and got emotionelly attached to and deny that happened all you want but its a relief to get that out of my system lol also sry for bad english

Do you have any video on the essential gear for exploring or a general strategy for leaving the base for long time? basically dying far from base isnt fun and losing my gear and loot everytime is frustrating. im still new playing PVE btw. thanks.

In pvp servers on ragnarok, rafts are quite viable as a base location since the ocean is vast and no leedsicthes spawn.
