When this movie was released in the year 1974 at Bijoli cinema hall and others hall then I was 14 years old. This movie Mouchak was super duper hit in all over west Bengal. Entire movie is simply excellent. The story dialogues songs plot and direction all are superb. Respected Uttam kumar, respected Sabitri chatterjee and each and every actors and actresses are excellently well. The director Aurobindo Mukherjee made this movie for all. Actually this movie is evergreen even today young generation like this movie. Really enchantingly magically homely movie. Ranjit Mallick is excellent in this movie. He is one of the handsome actor next to Uttam kumar and Soumitra Chatterjee. The story and the filming of the story is extraordinary. When this movie was released then we went to watch this movie with my elder sister bought two tickets paying only Rs 5/ each tickets were only 2.50/ really so. This movie ran for six months at a stretch at Bijoli cinema near Bhowanipur police station. We went to watch from Tollygunge. Then bus fare was twenty paise each (20 paise). Absolutely respected Uttam kumar was extraordinarily excellent. The heroine Mithu MUKHERJEE was really excellent. 4.11.23.
