Amazing review again!

Let's be real most of us who bought this set was for that awesome battle damaged gohan. Goku is a bonus he has the accurate colors of the anime and his joints are best not using translucent plastic due to the fragility of it. Overall IMO this set is worth it

There are plenty of these for sale on the Chinese retail websites. At a cheaper price too. $40 shipped to the US. So no one has really missed this yet. If you don't care for this set then it's good you didn't get the official version at 3x the price. You'd be even more disappointed.

I really like the flame effects you used with Gohan. Where are they from?

I’m sure you got them over time, but where did you get all the blast effects?

Woahh the box usually come with some minor damage or worst, this one really smooth, also Bandai Japan really carefully about releasing something like blood or wound damage coz the new generation standards nowadays about violence in general toys (since Dragon ball considered as a kids show too thats why Dragon ball super is less or no brutal at all like back in the days).

the figures are great but i hate how flimsy my kamehameha effect was because if i touched something around it the glowy sticks fall apart (the orange goku was from dbz kai) but they made it glowy in this set)

On the brightside, at least the translucent Goku would look really cool if you placed him in front of a light-source. =)

Squize a yellow led under ss goku hair and it will glow like a match

I think if u can put a bunch of red lighting behind the ghost goku, it might give cool kaioken effect

I'm not a huge DBZ collector, but this is my second favorite scene in the entire anime and I've long wanted to put a display together with these two and then Cell getting blasted by Vegeta on the other side. Maybe one day.

Worth the 55 bucks hand down, plus the Gohan is way better than the official, a little blood goes a long way. I do wish the Goku was on their 3.0 body but for 55 buck for 2 figs im happy, they look great on the shelf

i feel like the only person who didn't like gohan's faces in this set so i'm waiting for tamashii's 3.0 ssj2 whether it's just a head or a whole new battle-damaged 3.0

From my experience, translucent joints aren't good for an action figure since they're usually more brittle as I had two figures with such joints that broke even after some gentle posing. For almost $60, this set is worth it since single Demoniacal Fit figures are already $34 where I'm from and so far, this set hasn't been sold out.

This set is lovely, the ghost goku is colorful translucent while p-bandai goku is in purely dark-purple color......😏
Also, they fixed the headsculpts of shf ss3 goku, a way better than bandai😜

Beast Deities had a better idea by making all the flesh parts on Goku solid plastic while making his hair and clothes from translucent plastic. They also made their Goku a 3.0, but there's no Gohan.

Hmm, seems like the struggle with this particular set is just the old sculpts re-used(which is more Bandai's fault), and also the use of the clear plastic. The paint stuff is impressive, but really, the set just seems optimal just for the single pose, which is fair, I guess.

It makes me happy that the Goku comes with the base hair flowing, mainly cuz that's how the scene is supposed to look in the manga.

Where those flight stand come from?

I use the translucent goku as an afterimage effect for my other Goku. It’s really good at looking like he’s dodging stuff or teleporting somewhere

I use the translucent Goku for my OTHER Goku to make it look like he is obtaining ultra instinct

Few months late, but since I have mine for some time... Plastic and QC is of course worse, but for some reason not even gods know, the headsculp and faces are WAY BETTER than Bandai's. It's ridiculous how good this Gohan looks in comparison! Also the matte paiting for the hair fit my theme of having as little golden shitty SS hairs as possible. Great video!

for a SS2 Cell Saga Gohan, I'd rather just pick up the new headsculpt for the SS Cell Saga Gohan that's coming out that also has a beast variant for those who love what-ifs, never really a big fan of the battle damage in this fight anyhow
