It would be good to get some blue collar voices in congress, however it is corruption that is the enemy, and even blue collar people are corrupt. For example most blue collar people that I have talked to have a very unrealistic view of Social security. That system has less money coming into it now that the benefits that are being paid out, and everyone wants to just increase the tax on the poor working stiff to "fix" the problem.
