Thumbs up for the Simpsons reference
ОтветитьFrom your enthusiasm it's evident that the pictures in no way match up to what you see in person. It looks a bit flat on my tablet. I'll have to take your word for it, enjoy, both of you.
ОтветитьSo who gets to wear it? Whoever gets up earlier? Specific days of the week and alternate Sundays?
ОтветитьThat watch is1000 times more beautiful than anything Tudor has to offer. There's no reason for anyone to think that buying Tudor would be better than this.
ОтветитьNoo onion crowns are the best!
ОтветитьThe watch is very attractive, but asking the same money as a 1-2 year old Omega for a microbrand watch with a ETA movement is a reach. It also defeats the win of choosing a less established microbrand because they should be cheaper!
ОтветитьWhen I see a "mystery' image capture or/and title, I actually don't watch the video because it were interesting, the capture or the title would say so.
ОтветитьI had a chance to see this in person (thanks Redbar!) and had almost the same impression as Mr Morgan. The dial is otherworldly in its beauty and refinement. That damned onion crown kept me from making the purchase.
ОтветитьFormex has some comparable MOP dial Essences
ОтветитьFor those of your kicking yourself about the norther lights, there will be another pulse into the magnetosphere in about a week and a half ... just remember that the pretty lights come with a price and your internet may be patchy !!
ОтветитьEven before watching the video, I knew the watch would be British… It looks very good, ok specs but it is way too expensive
ОтветитьMido have a nice MOP. Islander have a good abalone dial watch.
ОтветитьI would’ve bought this if only it came with a Quartz movements. A watch like this which the idea is solely the dial should at least get the most accurate movements and almost ZERO service cost. Why push in a ETA? Just to make it thinker and to be able to say it’s mechanical? Sam Folger
ОтветитьThe brand name is CRAP
ОтветитьClarksons farm is soooo good
ОтветитьI think your last comments got me. I don't mind spending that cash on a watch that looks like this. I do might spashing that on an ETA powered watch.
ОтветитьIt looks cheap. Imho.
ОтветитьDon't worry fella, I had no idea till Thursday morning the wife had BBC Breakfast on and they were showing viewers photos..... I was in bed when it was happening 🤦🏼♂️
ОтветитьBeautiful watch. Is it just me, or is there some dirt between the bezel and case at 9?
ОтветитьWhat a crummy back... Looks like a $10 watch.
ОтветитьDon’t sleep on the mother of pearl selections at Formex. The Aqua-Terresque plank dial made from a continuous piece of MoP is glorious. Its doesn’t have the same “pop” as a large flat piece like Fears, but it’s a wonder all its own.
ОтветитьAndrew, you steam a good ham. 😝😝😝
ОтветитьExactly two months ago Andrew did the same video called “I have a new watch and it’s incredible.” He keeps recycling the old tired stuff and just fills in the blanks with a new model watch. Next month he’ll do one using amazing instead of unbelievable or incredible. Is it any wonder he lost his Watchfinder gig.
ОтветитьThe Fears watch I really fancied was a limited edition tank shaped model that they did a while ago. Really nice. It did need to be in gold rather than steel though.
ОтветитьCongratulations it looks epic 🎉
ОтветитьYeah it’s aight - you can get a used Grand Seiko sbgw231 for less.
Ответитьtaste is a personal thing. for me this is just too female looking.
but congrats to a new timepiece 👍
Andrew, you should have some sentimental msg to Charlotte engraved on the case back, so the two of you are reminded whenever one of you wears it.
ОтветитьHmmm
ОтветитьI can’t imagine buying a watch with my partner. But that says more about my dating life than my watch buying habits 😅
ОтветитьGreat inclusion of a classic Simpsons quote 😃
ОтветитьBeautiful watch, and a Dark Souls reference… me as a gamer: “One of us! One of us!”
ОтветитьSimpson references on point
ОтветитьYou forgot the Steinhart 39 Ocean Sub homage that veers far enough away from Rolex and old ladies to be wholly acceptable. At least to me. And the few hundred quid it cost me was very acceptable indeed. 👍😄
You've inspired me - I shall go and dig it out of my apocalypse ready Peli watch case. 😄
Would I share a watch with a partner? Maybe. But probably not a four grand one. 😂
How sweet - a husband and wife watch. 😄
But what happens when you both want to wear it? 🤔
Nice. Finishing at 7oclock is a bit rough on the dial (under macro). Would expect more for the cost
ОтветитьFears are pure Britsh class
Ответить"So you can go back and frighten the other oysters with it." Laughed out loud. Have fun with your new horological bivalve.
ОтветитьI dig it
ОтветитьGot my Smiths PRS-29A this week. Surprisingly excellent watch and gives me the feels in the same way my old IWC mark 16 / Aqua Terra did....36mm, manual wind? Yes please.
Fears is awesome by the way
Cheers to the simpsons reference
ОтветитьYou should check out E. Stohlman the Earl and their MOP dials.
Ответитьcw twelve - good share 🙂
ОтветитьSomeone in our London watch group has one of these, and I can confirm that it's a unique looker in person! The mother of pearl doesn't hide the same way the darker, duller shade of the Sinn does.
It's a bit of a left field choice and it's not really playing at the same level, but the Wancher Kaguya is the closest you can get on a budget. It's a similarly-sized, bold luminescent blue mother of pearl dial is very impressive for the price.
Never heard of them before so thank you, just wow that's a stunner, my bank account is crying (so it's my partner) but f.. me that's gorgeous
ОтветитьReminds me of the shimmer from Annihilation. Congrats on the new watch Andrew.
ОтветитьProbably the very first (and second) time(s) anyone has referenced Dark Souls to describe mother of pearl. Love it
ОтветитьAhahaha your threaten the oysters bit made me spit toothpaste all over the wall. Never change.
