I liked this movie until the end, when Joel started interfering with the cure and then killing the doctors and Marlene. I don't agree with the MC's actions. It seems like his selfishness prevents the benefit of humanity, all because he felt bonded to a little girl that reminds him of his daughter. I appreciate you uploading and sharing this movie though.

Ah, what a hero... destroyed the only chance of survival of his nation and entire humankind even civilization itself. just because she is "reminiscent of his passed daughter." Now Ellie could live for her 60-70's (if she is not killed before of course) and after entire humanity devolves back to cavemans. Seriously, I have hard time to understand American's concept of "Heroism"...

As someone who played the game when it first came out, I have to ask: Why couldn't have the HBO series have been done more like this?

As much as I give credit for actors and actresses in their respective roles, I think the show itself could've been done better.

They did an amazing job with creating a Joel prior to the outbreak totally juxtaposing the Joel 20 years later. He had a glow in his face before. He showed love, panick and anguish. 20 years later, he looks so hardened and mean and full of hatred. A shell of the man he once was. Finding Ellie and bonding with her, his old self from 20 years ago slowly but surely found it's way out and it was like he was given a second chance 😭
