You make some excellent points Neil. It should be noted that many of the "American companies" are American in name only. Many "American" companies source their raw material from foreign countries and have offshored their manufacturing. They usually have CEOs and board members focused on advancing "special interests" by using the company, it's products and advertising as a platform. In America we echo your sentiments and it's one of the reasons that Trump got elected. As you correctly pointed out, the Globalists/trans-nationalists and their Cultural Marxist and Climate Change agenda permeates everything they touch and grows like a rot or virus. In America NGOs and companies like Blackrock are tantamount to corruption and an attack on freedom and the common person. Your explanation did clear one thing up for me...

For years I've wondered why there always seemed to be British voices present in every advertisement, political commentary pushing Cultural Marxism, Global Warming or in NGOs and Globalist companies. Now I have an idea as to why and an inkling about who it involves. While many of the UK's precious companies and production may have been replaced by foreign ones it looks like it was orchestrated by UK'ers of the Cultural Marxist/Globalist bent and it's all been planned so that they retain their power, representation and ability to attempt to "steer" corporations, news and media and through them, everything else. For years Americans have had British and European people (in positions of power) tell them they were racist, mal-adjusted in their beliefs that freedom was more important the "common good", that they needed to make sacrifices for the Global community including their freedom of speech and 2nd Amendment. Now it makes a little more sense and it's all obviously orchestrated and contrived by those who wish to rule the world... from a Global level where they are not subject to those pesky laws and taxes they keep us bound by.

Personally I don't think there are enough UK'ers left with the mettle to restore the UK. After watching the events of recent years, if I lived in the UK, I would send the women and children of my family to live overseas and out of harm's way. Best of luck to you and the UK.

While I may be in the minority, I will take UK television, movies AND actors over the one hit wonders here in the U.S.
I have Prime video, so I can get Britbox, Masterpiece Theatre as part of a package- but I watch nothing Prime related, and then Acorn as well.
Any decent entertainment here is in the past, so TCM fits that need. But for now I will import Shetland, Vera and Dagliesh to name a few and I am a content viewer.
It appears to me the british havent lost their lead in this area, and are in no danger of doing so.
All acting here is boiled down to attempts at memorable one liners. Let us hope we dont export that garbage to the U.K. as well.
