ОтветитьURGENT QUESTION
Thank you for this very informative video. I have listed below a few questions I have concerning this topic.
@ Alila Medical Media, I would very much appreciate if you could answer them.
Does radius of arterioles and cardiac output return to their “original” values following the correction of arterial pressure by the baroreflex? For example, if a patient moves from a lying position to a standing position, their arterial pressure decreases. In response, the baroreflex increases arterial pressure by constricting most arterioles and increasing cardiac output. Blood pressure being restored to a “normal” value, the stimulation of baroreceptor should return to a “normal” value. In conclusion, I assume that the radius of the constricted arterioles as well as cardiac output should return to their original value (i.e. when the patient was lying down).
If this is assumption is correct, why does this return to an original "state" not cause a second drop in blood pressure.
If this assumption is incorrect and the arterioles remain constricted for a prolonged period of time, how does this constriction impact organ function?
best video on baroreceptor!
ОтветитьThis was the best explanation I have gotten on this topic. Thank you. Please continue to spread your knowledge.

Ответитьgreat explication . . thank you 👏👏♥️♥️♥️
ОтветитьI finally feel like my grade can be saved due to your videos. Thank you!
ОтветитьVery nice video
Ответитьشكرا لك ☺️
ОтветитьAt the end of this video, it is stated that if hypertension or hypotension exist for a long time, the baroreceptors reset to the new normal levels. If you have high blood pressure for a long time, how do you reset the baroreceptors correctly to get to the proper normal levels? Another question is can plaque buildup in the carotid artery cause the baroreceptors not to work correctly?
Ответитьthank you so much ^-^
