You won’t believe it
ОтветитьGreat project. Downloaded the plans and will be building it for my son. Question for you - did you only use Modified Oil Finish as in the link as it only shows 1 product, but your video shows 2 products being used. Thanks for the clarification!
ОтветитьSo beautiful, but, alas, really small workshop, no bandsaw, no drum sander, benchtop jointer...really enjoy the videos!
ОтветитьIn my head I could smell that Rubio. Love it.
ОтветитьSweet video! Too bad I only have maybe 2 of those hand tools haha
ОтветитьThis video helped me realize there is no way I can build my own coffee table.
ОтветитьLove the tip about using tape wrapped around the ends to prevent glue squeeze out!
Ответитьshow us a coffee table with concealment table top.
ОтветитьNice and simple
ОтветитьI bought these plans but am using ash wood as it's all I could get. Paid $200 for the wood but I think I might inlay some purple heart wood somewhere.
ОтветитьThank you .
ОтветитьBeautiful!! I love working with walnut
ОтветитьNice job! This is probably the coffee table design I’m going to be building so this is very helpful.
ОтветитьThat is so amazing. Im going to try build my own coffee table this summer as a little project to pass the time
ОтветитьWhat a waste of time. He doesn't really show how to do the project. Won't bother with any more of his vids.
ОтветитьQuick question: what is that Rigid device you used to help support the wood w/ your bandsaw?
ОтветитьGreat video. Where do you get the chin clamp?
ОтветитьNice table! When using mortise and tenon where both tenons meet at the same mortis, I cut the tenant at 45° and then sold it they can share the same mortises. You could probably do the same with a towel
Ответитьi dont need plans, i need tools and jigs
ОтветитьПаша техник многогранный как стакан.
ОтветитьWell done, very good work, thank you for sharing
ОтветитьHow much does the rough wood cost for a project of this size?
Ответить"Jowel Joinery"??? lol
ОтветитьLuis Lovon
ОтветитьFrom DIY to needing $3000 worth of tools hahaha! I can't wait to have all these toys. I love these videos, thank you!
ОтветитьThat’s pretty.
ОтветитьI've never wanted to be a carpenter so bad...
ОтветитьParvez Aslam good thanks so much love u 🇵🇰 very good thanks thanks for the birthday 🎂 parvez Aslam good thanks thanks 🤔 thanks 🤔 thanks
ОтветитьI saw this video and I actually made the same kind of coffee table but with different wood and different measurements. Worked out great though! I was 13 when I made it now I’m 14! It was a long build especially since we used mortise and tenon joints for the pieces of wood under the table tops and we had to cut and chisel them with a router and some of chisels. Basically we didn’t exactly have the tools for the job but it still came out great!
ОтветитьCoffee table looks and feels great... But so small thing needs some much effort to make.... Nice work.... 👍
ОтветитьGood job. You used $10,000+ worth of tools to build a table.
ОтветитьThis was so much fun to watch! and it came out great!
Ответитьit is really hard job rely the expensive tools
ОтветитьHow to build a coffee table
Step 1: Blow a bag on industrial grade equipment
Love your work. I am so going to try to make a nail tech table with white pvc sheet. Since wood is not a good material for the nail products. Thank you so much for the idea and explaining everything so nice. 🥰
ОтветитьThis is funny seeing someone else struggle with dowels!
After my first time trying dowels with inferior tools, I went out and bought the JessEm Master Kit and haven't looked back! Alignment is really easy.
When accounting for wood movement shouldn't the fasteners be only at the end grain of the top??
ОтветитьThat’s a hell of a sponsor..... lucky🥺
ОтветитьLooks like I’m becoming a regular supporter of the Fix This Build That show. I just purchased these plans and hope to get it built for my wife by Christmas Eve! Hoping to add a lift top to it however. 👍🙏
ОтветитьI think you should have applied traditional west or Japanese joinery for this table. It would immensely benefit the looks, value and integrity. Joinery requires very few hand tools to achieve. They can be expensive but cheaper ones work exactly the same way. Thank you for sharing and keep touching wood.
ОтветитьNice project, great tips! And, a high five for having one of the few drill presses that do not have a rusty column!
ОтветитьI was hoping to see the fence in your accessories list but didn't. Where'd you get it?
Ответитьthe result is amazing. the color and design of the table is excellent
ОтветитьAbout how much would you say the lumber for this cost you?
ОтветитьIf you had a workshop full of those tools, chances are you'll already be pretty proficient at making furniture much better than this already.
ОтветитьOh the nostalgia... subscribed for MacGyveritude. MacGyverism. MacGyverification? You know what I mean... will do same for impro-vise-ation.
