i thought you would show the whole process of 5 Days
ОтветитьThe horse in the beginning in the back round tryed to get over da gate
ОтветитьThis was amazing! Where can I watch the rest?
Ответитьgreat video. thank you!
ОтветитьWe know how to treat our own animals
ОтветитьAll you have to do is build 35 meter round corral. Watch Marty Roberts,'s videos of his "Join-Up" methods and you can have these horses follow you around in 20 to 30 minutes!
You are doing it all wrong! Please learn Marty Roberts "eequs method" teaches us the horses communication mannerisms. They lower their head like they are eating grass, then they lick and chew. They will make a smaller circle toward you. Then you turn sideways. The horse will stop and turn toward you. You then turn your back. The horse will walk over to you and put his snout on your shoulder. Then you reward him by rubbing his head and face. Hell folllow you anywhere for ever! Hes YOUR horse!
Maybe the greatest video for people looking for a partner in life. ALL SINGLE PEOPLE NEED TO WATCH THIS!
ОтветитьAll of the subtle, yet definitive behavioral cues and responses are fascinating and astonishing
ОтветитьHi Ryan, I don't have a horse I'm 77 and don't have the health to care for one, I like watching you because you're really good at what you do and you're a very likable person. Right now, I'm maxed out donating to keep the leftists from ruining the world. I can't afford to donate to you right now. My S.S. is just a little over $1,000. a month. If you want me to stop watching your videos for free, I'll stop.
ОтветитьHope you have a seperate pair of shoes for driving😜💩
ОтветитьI found your channel but pure luck, and now I’m hooked. You have amazing skills and understanding of horses. The service you provide is so needed. Do you offer classes for humans?
ОтветитьI'm shocked at the way the horse in the other pin just about took or could have knocked that gate off. It went up to the top of it. Good thing it was fastened or locked.
ОтветитьThis is a TERRIBLE training method. This is a legacy from "The Old West" when cowboys would throw a rope on a horse, handle it a bit, then throw a saddle on the horse, and then ride it. I ride English, on show-jumping Thoroughbreds. We do "gentle breaking-in" - none of this cowboy roping stuff - and our horses are never frightened from having a rope suddenly land on them. Grow up and learn to "gentle-train" a horse - STOP being a cowboy.
ОтветитьThis right here is the most rewarding and thrilling part of the process! You do such a great job explaining in your videos. Thank you for sharing you knowledge.
ОтветитьLove, love, love
Ответитьevery horse girl movie be like :
ОтветитьYour creating it that she now’s you weakness and getting to turn her rear on you. Rip and give at 90% and you’ll have the edge. The simple the better and making contact get into the shoulder with the back of the hand and straight into positive body contacts and halter on and britchen rope befor trying to lead. Then it’s strait up to the snubbing post for the work over and legs up. With a few breaks and a chance to have a good pull back by her own choice and if she should throw herself then don’t let her lay there and sulk .A tap on the rump will usually get them back on their feet. Always a proper tie up collar and 18 inches nose to post .Halter break done over a period of of about an hour . Rest includes total freedom on feed and water. For half hour and be seen to be actively working with other horses Be positive gentle but firm and confident.and remember no less than 90% on the come around and don’t forget the other side
ОтветитьDisabled rural veteran southern illinois. Took in a mare w/ one day old foal few months ago. Found out later she was a wild reservation horse roundup…sold thru auctions somehow and ended up further bought by a rescue assisted effort vs slaughter.
Anyway…after 3 mos have a halter on momma…that was hard with no round pen. And now have her used to touch and can manage to trim her front feet!
What I cant do yet is pick up rear feet without an air kick…or get a lead rope attached to the rope halter unless i can get her into a small area she cant escape, then she lets me approach and groom her but i stay away from the rear back legs, aside from using a stick extension to desensitize which has worked, but im not at all comfortable putting my head down back there. Told baby should be weaned at 5 mos, or in one month, so maybe that will help working with her? Baby is great…no issues w/ halter, leading, grooming & picking/rasping feet. Also they are with my 20yo gelding (had him since 6yo & boarded many years until now..at own rural property and he needed companionship. This is what I have and am doing my best alone to get momma on board. They all are fine together and bonding. I just need to be able to walk up to momma in a big area (small area easy) & hook up a lead rope, and also trim her back feet…she is long overdue. Vet aside will not come out until i can get this done. I can touch and groom her head, belly, mane, neck, chest, back, and what i can reach of the top of her gaskins. Ive only brushed her tail once but used a stick to reach for it. She will only come to me at liberty if she thinks i have food. If no food she doesnt come over. The gelding and foal follow me everywhere

Update: can pick up back feet. Said a prayer and tried using a rope lightly around the ankle to get her used to the touch of anything. However now the bigger challenge is getting to respect the lead rope. In a smaller area she is agreeable and lets me approach. In a larger area she avoids me if i have the rope because she doesnt want to be bothered or would rather keep nibbling grass or be nearer the other horses. Today I was leading her back to her area near sunset and she stopped to say she didn’t want to go and dod a 360 and jogged the other way. I had to do a cat/mouse with a lunge stick to get her to go back to her area. How do you get a now semi-wild horse to respect the lead rope all the time? She is letting me do quite alot so far including beginning trailer loading pretty well. Its just retrieving from afternoon pasture area time or when she wants to do something else…🤨
You should make sure that in reality that whoever enters the pen doesn’t take their attention off the horse… you’re subconsciously able to do that but it’s not advised for everyone
ОтветитьNot to be a party pooper but Monty Roberts can do it in 3 days
ОтветитьAs I’m from England and don’t know anything about wild horses, could someone tell me why the mustangs came to the sanctuary and why they can’t go back to the wild? Thanks
ОтветитьThanks for explaining and sharing this great info!-Erb Equine Services
Ответитьgive iris a marshmellow...if that's ok.

ОтветитьI'm rewatching this series for the 4th time in two days because I have a feral/abused Clyde cross mare I'm working with and trying to memorize everything to use in her training sessions. Your videos are so helpful!!!
Ответитьwhat part of Florida?
ОтветитьIt’s great to see this gentle and consistent approach.
ОтветитьOne of the best things about watching your videos is that it doesn't matter where someone is with their horse's progress, there is ALWAYS something very valuable we can walk away with and use. Thank you for that!
ОтветитьWonderful tutorials on training, thanks for sharing! God bless!
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьWe have 3 little horses
ОтветитьRyan you are just like the rest of the trainers talk talk and talk.
ОтветитьI have a question! If after each achievement you give him a reward, wouldn't it be easier to train? No?
ОтветитьI am so happy you talked about our leadership role with horses. It is sooooo important. 😊
ОтветитьI've never seen a wild mustang with a freeze brand on its neck? But hey what would i no?
ОтветитьI train Mustangs and own 2 that's y
ОтветитьPoor horse walling up with the bear claw look .ok I'd run round and round no point.rope her then little rules in stick feet and get closer and closer that's a days try. 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🥕👌
ОтветитьThanks for the Video ! Helps me a lot by getting a better bond with my 2 young koniks (both 1 1/2 years never touched). Love the content!
ОтветитьI know absolutely nothing about horses one of your videos popped into my feed this morning so I gave it a watch. Wow sir you have an amazing talent working these unbroken animals! I’m now 3 videos in and can’t stop watching them! You have me even more interested in getting a horse for myself and one for my 11 yo daughter. This is extremely invaluable information your teaching in such a humble and infectiously joyful manner. Thank you for this content I’m now a sub giving you 👍🏻
ОтветитьClue factory
ОтветитьIf you hold rope like that your going to lose a finger or 2.... The only thing saving you is the size of the pen and even then all it takes is 1 loop closing in that coil....Source I grew up on a horse farm(showjumpers) my moms an equine vet and I've met several farmers that lost fingers because they wrapped the rope in circles and grabbed it like you are holding the rope and the animal bolted.... What you should do is make a figure 8 and grab the mid so that it cannot bind your hand if it were to suddenly get pulled at max speed by the animal bolting....
ОтветитьCan you please send me to where I need to go to get more information on Iris the Sorrel mustang mare!
ОтветитьAwesome video!! Great job!!
ОтветитьI know nothing about this and it's fascinating. From a gentleness standpoint, you sir are wonderful.
