When we can start these workouts in after surgery
ОтветитьThanks for breaking this down and making the progression straightforward.
ОтветитьWhat if the person didn't have a reconstruction but wants to go back to sports
ОтветитьWhen you say body mass, is that your weight??
ОтветитьAround 5 half month after acl surgery... And I can run slowly..... Walk freely... But had little pain some time in my knee... And sometime pop soud.... 😢😢... Is it ok to have... Pls inform🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьHaving partial ACL tear since 2 year . Should I go for surgery or it can be manage by strengthening muscle from gym
Ответить4 months done....but still feel feared everyday, didn't started running and being getting obesity I guess any thoughts 🥺
ОтветитьHey mate. I'm 1.5 years post op. I still have laxity in my knee. I did MRI, everything is good but there's still laxity. Do i need to workout my knee muscles?? Can u please tell me those workouts to strengthen and fix my laxity issue.
ОтветитьJust was diagnosed with a full ACL tear after coming down on my leg playing basketball.
It’s been a month since i hurt it, and I nearly have no pain. I work on my feet so getting this surgery will sideline me more than the actual tear has. Terrified to get the surgery and not be able to work for weeks or even months.
Also have to decide on a date sooner than later due to my meniscus being at risk since my ACL is torn. Trying to stay optimistic though
It’s been 13 months since I did my knee surgery. I had ACL and both of my meniscus repair, plus a procedure called OATS. I still have a long way to go in terms of rebuilding strength and getting my leg the same size as my other leg. Plus still working on ROM for both extension and flexion.
ОтветитьI had acl surgery 5 months ago, but i am 125 kgs so i still cant squat/run really fast. Is this normal?
ОтветитьI´m 6 months post acl surgery with patellar graft and still have pain doing single leg squat
ОтветитьOne of the most effective exercise for beginners is walk. Walk 5 km daily if you want to heal fast and then increase the distance. ❤
ОтветитьHow should I calculate the weight for the leg press? Let's say I'm seeking a leg press of 180 pounds; do I count the weight of the sled plus the weights? just the weights?
ОтветитьSir I am speaking from Bangladesh. It is 1 year since my ACL surgery. Now also muscle thin leg pain. Please tell me what should I do now.
ОтветитьAfter ACL surgery how many months am starting my work out
ОтветитьI am 10 weeks after my ACL and LCL reconstruction plus both meniscus tear. I still cannot straighten my leg fully, I walk limping and cannot do a squat without pain. I am a professional athlete, and am doing my rehab training everyday. It is very dissapointing how slow I progress.
ОтветитьLetsgoo my acl fellows, we got this!
Ответитьwhy did you guys remove your full program video on acl recovery? where can i find it please
Ответить7 weeks after reconstruction with meniscus suture and working in stage 2. Thanks for this great video 🎉 i know there's a lot to work on in the next months, but now i have goals except waiting for time to move on ❤
ОтветитьIt took me 9 months to watch this whole video.
Ответить6th day of my ACL reconstruction and its fun to read through a community like this.
Thanks for making this thread active.
Will these exercise cur swelling and niggling pain
ОтветитьSir i have done orthoscopic operation my right lag about 2 months problem is going down my lag thin, what should i do, pls inform me thanks a lot,,
ОтветитьI didn't have reconstruction because the surgeon said it was healing. 2months later I did damage again and ended having to start again with a leg brace.
Fast forward over 2yrs and I still limp and have swelling around my knee...
I'm assuming my ACL is fucked and I have left it too long.
I can't even squa anymore. Struggle to get down on 1 knee 😒
Very helpful videos and advices. But I've got question... I could not understand STRENGTH section: What 150% of body mass on leg press mean and what demonstrate isometric knee extensor strength >70% of uninjured side means? I am 80 kg and how can I calculate that % regarding my kg. I am 19 months from injury and still struggling with running. Thanks a lot.
ОтветитьTear since last 5 months
ОтветитьI had acl tear more that 50% and mcl tear and meniscus year also. Can these be done without surgery? I can walk , do squats and lunges . Doing exercises with 2kgs weight . Can running be done only after surgery?
ОтветитьSir I have partial low grade ACL tear , without surgery it can heal or else I need surgery please reply sir..
Ответитьrunning comes after squatting? that seems weird to me. Squatting is harder on the knees
ОтветитьWhat method of ACL reconstruction is better? Cadaver or hamstring? My doc said Im going to have cadaver, but in Australia they do only hamstring.
ОтветитьI can squat double body weight, but 1.25x single leg press is brutal. Are you sure i have to be able to press that much with an injured leg before running?
ОтветитьPlease answer!!! Do I really need to see a physio therapist after my acl surgery to fully heal and get back myself in the field?
ОтветитьI had my revision ACL surgery and it’s been 4 months since my surgery. Right now I am on task 3.
Thanks for the incredible video. It gave me definitive checkpoints and helped to calm my impatient mind. Thanks once again.
Hi, would you mind sharing the form that appears in the video?
ОтветитьWhy do I feel pain while just watching exercise 7 to 10?🥶🥶
ОтветитьSuper helpful! I’m a personal trainer taking on a client who finished up physical therapy and this was incredibly helpful in understanding progressions!
ОтветитьI'm really progressing well on my Rehab-Journes (exactly 6months post op now) - THANKS TO YOU, you gave me the necessary milestones / or small goals to reach towards.
I have a question though: I never really felt okay with my knee on a (single)-legpress, double leg was okay but i compensated - so i reached my weight goals in equivalent weight just doing a loaded Squat - or Single-Leg-Squat to parallel - is there a focused mechanical load on the quad while legpressing and thus the recommended measurement or is a well executed squat okay as well?
This is amazing help! Thanks. I’m just 2 weeks after surgery. Working on the basics now. Will move to these as soon as physically possible!
ОтветитьThanks to this video .🙏 After a tibial tubercle osteotomy I found the confidence necessary following this program step by step to finally get to the point I can pretend to run again 💙
Ответить5 months out of surgery and this is a gold mine of information. progressing to task 3-4!
ОтветитьIncredible resource! People don’t realise how valuable this is to have for free! I’ve gone for conservative management and my MRI’s taken approx 2 years apart have shown spontaneous healing from a fully torn ACL.
Keen to try out all these key markers!
In the video you are using a 45 degree leg press machine, is that a conscious preference? Or would the fact that the athlete performs leg press in a more seated position be something to consider regarding to the required percentages of body mass? Thanks!
ОтветитьSir I am a football player and Sir I had acl sprain 3 and half month back in my right leg . And sir my leg still has mild pain. please sir tell me something. What should I do
ОтветитьI completely snapped my ACL when I was 24 by landing incorrectly from a jump. 7 months ago I had reconstructive ACL surgery and I’m currently on rehabilitation. I’m doing loads of cycling and tibialis raises. Only downside atm is I wake up with a stiff knee every morning and struggle to go downstairs with my bad knee. My knee is still swollen and I struggle to straighten it out. Other than that I’m doing ok
ОтветитьI completely tore my ACL, MCL and 3/4 of my patellar tendon 1 year ago. Had two surgeries and having these videos really help in understanding what I should aim for. Thanks a lot.
ОтветитьHi, very informative video, thanks for your work ethic. I’m on my 7 month after partial ACL. So I’m working on strengthening my leg muscles, so I can eventually go back to more demanding exercise and with patient return to practice sports.
ОтветитьHi Sir...I have completed my ACL surgery before one month...Can I sit and travel in backseat of a bike now?? Kindly suggest
ОтветитьExplain with an example , that leg press with body mass thing. It's very confusing
Ответить
