I met Steve Harvey in the elevator of a hotel in 2000. I was at a COGIC church convention in Memphis Tennessee and I was 12 years old at the time. One of the members of my church asked him, "Aren't you Steve Harvey?". To which he replied, "Sometimes I am, sometimes I don’t want to be." At the time, I couldn't understand how someone famous who seemingly had everything could appear so mean and miserable. I remember thinking to myself that famous people are mean. Fame must make you mean. His story about what His life was like before 2005 explained everything. He didn’t have God in his life at that time. God is the difference maker. No amount of money, power, prestige, or fame can bring you joy and true fulfillment in life. Only God can do that. I can relate to this because I recently quit a good job with excellent benefits. On the outside looking in my life appeared very good (educated, great career, debt free, plenty of money etc.) but I was still miserable. A few days before I quit my job, I fully dedicated my life to God. I have been on the most wonderful spiritual journey since then. Although I don’t currently have income, I believe God for little miracles and provision everyday, and He has come through each and everyday. Most importantly, I have more peace and joy now than I've ever had in my adult life. God is the difference maker. I believe I will meet Steve Harvey again one day and I look forward to reflecting on this. The work that God has done in Steve's life is remarkable and I'm so happy that he has used his life to testify about the goodness of God.

I still believe that I'm going to be successful my life and I'm going to have everything I need as well as my kids but for one thing I don't understand the bashing the rudeness of disrespectfulness and he's kids afloat I could care less about my apps but they got kids all all of this for nothing because at the end of the day nobody is thinking about these kids and their growth I'll still stand up and say that I do nothing without my kids because of some fact all that I've been through in my life that was always the one to make up the difference
