ОтветитьThank you so much! I got a beautiful violin as a present (I LOVE IT) but I havent read music in 30 years. that was clarinet and piano...
ОтветитьHeyyy!!!!!
Hope you doing well, I rlly got imp thing to ask, but first of all, am rlly rlly thankful to your vids, am latelary in day 6 Right now and couldn't bilieve that I was finally creating sound on the violen and was so happy, seriously thank you,.... But I just got a small proplem. The thing is that whenever I try to tune the violen on a tuner app the wooden up that scrolls the strings in keeps on loosing and I get to to round it it more for the string to be tuned to find out the D string getting ripped, and the strings to buy wasn't cheap, and yesterday when I was tunning it again the wooden small thing down that holds the strings kept slipping untill the same D string got ripped again and now I got to buy the whole set once more, and that rlly happens alot espisially that when I tune the violen, 10 mins later and the strings start lossening and I will have to tune them up again , so is that really normal or am I prolly messing something??. Hope you rlly reply soon 🩹❤️
Thank you for today's lesson. Very comprehensive and didn't rush into anything. Your awesome!
ОтветитьI’m unbelievably excited to learn how to play. I’m 30 years old and have been fascinated since I was very young.
I long await to be able to portray my emotions, as I feel that they are so intense only music can express them. I plan to let the violin show me the way! Thank you for your teachings!
Thanks for the very helpful lessons.
I am 68 years old I play on piano and I decided to start learning violin.
My question is: if I am left handed on which shoulder side I put the violin ? Thanks for all.
If I
I guess it depends what is meant by "play". I played the violin on day one but it was a short melody of just the open strings.
ОтветитьAfter having cancer 4 times in 2 years, and twice being given 6 months to live, I retired so I could enjoy what time I had left (that was 2018-2020). I am now in remission, and feeling reasonably well so decided to take up a new hobby. I have been playing piano since the 1960’s, so I already have extensive musical knowledge, but always fancied violin. Before this week I had never even touched one! It took me 2 days to be able to hold it correctly. (I have small and slopey shoulders so I now have a shoulder rest. As I am on benefits there is no way I can afford lessons, so thank you so much for doing these! You are doing it at a sensible speed too, but not in a patronising way. I am so looking forward to being able to play a few tunes. Thank you
ОтветитьEbb and Flow
ОтветитьThis was so helpful!
ОтветитьI don't even know how to play it
Ответитьthank you very much for the tutorial, i will try this when i get my violin in 3 days
ОтветитьI'm having trouble with the E string. I set out to use my bow on it, and it doesn't make a sound, I did all the usual checks, but I think I'm doing something wrong since when I use the bow on that string, the sound that comes out doesn't match yours, and I'm assuming, it's my technique.
Anyway, thank you for the lesson.
I enjoyed it.
You explained better than my teacher. Could even have.
ОтветитьI am 60 years old august 1rst and pretty happy about wanting to learn ow to play the violin ..i think its a bad ass instrement
ОтветитьI'm 18 and I think I'm "too old" to play violin but I'm trying to convince myself that its not, because I've always wanted to play violin.
ОтветитьWow I love this channel actually I want be a violinist and this is a great opportunity thank you
ОтветитьI played Violin for about 6 months in 5th grade before switching to Cello and eventually French Horn. Despite the fact that it's been 22 years, it's felt natural to pick it back up with the literal thrift store instrument I got just yesterday.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьLove that enthusiasm
ОтветитьI am 66 years old and retired and want to learn the violin. Am I crazy for trying this?
Ответитьthankyou
ОтветитьYesterday I bought the violin to learn it, but I was very afraid because I would learn it without a music teacher, but now I feel that part of the fear has gone, thank you.

ОтветитьI bought my violin last week and my suzuki book volume 1 to 8 just arrived yesterday. Due to having busy business trips until End May, I am forced to delay my first class until June. Now, i am kinda of relying on these classes as warm up to practice before attending to the actual classes. Bc i just can't stand a minute doing nothing with my violin in the case for a month.😂😂

ОтветитьI am brand new to the violin. It is an instrument that I have always loved and wanted to play. I played the guitar and piano as a young person but have never taken the opportunity to learn the violin until now and I am 68 years old. My father who is 92 gave me his violin and challenged me to learn to play, so I found your course and I am giving it a go.
ОтветитьYou're the loveliest teacher! What a great lesson. I'm going to continue from here.
ОтветитьThank you for the videos :) I am going back to playing violin after 7 years and im sooo excited!!
ОтветитьThank you 💙
ОтветитьI just inherited my great grandmother's violin after it sat in the corner of my grandfather's closet for 70 years.
I'm excited to learn how to play but, of course, rural area, there are no teachers.
Looks like I had to go all the way back across the pond. 😂
Unless I missed it; you didn't explain what a Suzuki method is.
How is it different from whatever else there is?
all of my string work but my E string doesn't work
ОтветитьNo one can learn violin in thirty days !!!!! I know by experience!!😖😤😠🤔😩😠😡
ОтветитьGreetings from Ukraine!
Have just saw your video, everythig is so amazing!
I'm a piano tech and music composer, song writer and multy-instrument player, love music and singing.
I's my childhood dream to play violin, so I've started to learn about 19 months ago and arter while from my start i've heaard about Suzuki method, mut I had never try that.
Thank you so much for such a great explanation. It's a brilliant videos to me and I'll practice in just a way you showed here.
My first 3/4 violin was gived to me since I've started to learn. After a year or something I got another 3/4 violin with better sound. But it became broken at violin neck and the violin itself doesn't feets all the measurements, so it's immpossible to use it. :(
It's war in Ukraine and me with my family had to move to other town for about 9 months ago. I'm searching daily for any order of composing and producing music and I understand that I have no budget to just buy a nice sounding violin. I'm not sure the one I have can be fixed or repaired. But I would love to practice a lot and then (when I will learn to play vibratto) to use the violin in my music compositions.
If you or anyone you know have any violin (3/4 or 4/4) and doesn't need it, can that be possible to ship it to Ukraine? I would love to buy a good one, but we are struggeling to survive here and the violin music helping me to take my attention of the war and the news and to find some peace to my soul.
Please let me know if you are interrested.
There's some music on my channel, please welcome to watch.
Thank you so much for taking your time to read my comment.
Kind regards...
I wish you also had a course like this for volume 3 and 4. Your teaching is the best I have found online. I have/am learning so, so much from yiu.
ОтветитьHi, my daughter is 14 and has been tuning for the past four hours. What should we do ?
