I love the story of the first camping trip with you and your husband.

We love our camping trips and having lights around the campsite as well but we use rope lights. I found that they are so much easier to clean, store and hang than the kind of lights you showed. I love the strand that you showed but for us, they aren't the easiest to travel with for many reasons. Just thought I'd put the suggestion out there for the rope lights. Hopefully your family is still camping, gaming and making memories! ⛺😊🗻

Love this video! We go family camping multiple times a year as well and have been for years. I came across your channel because our first trip of the season is this coming weekend and I am geeking out about it...binge watching family camp videos is helping me to subdue my excitement lol. Thanks for sharing about your camping experiences...camping is very sentimental to me as well. Our family can never afford a big luxury vacation either and camping is perfect for vacationing on a budget. We usually camp for at least three nights because I agree that it is so much work to set up camp just to break it down the next day. I agree Pringles are a great camp snack since the can protects them and we always bring them. Have you ever made walking tacos while camping? A walking taco is where you put your taco meat and favorite taco ingredients into a small bag of Fritos so you can literally walk around with it! So easy to make and not much to clean up! One thing I cannot do without while camping is my cast iron skillets, single burner butane camp stove, and my coffee. I used to use a French press, but those grounds are messy. So now we have a coffee pour over and we love it!! I definitely want some of those hanging lights. Other than that, our camp bins seem very similar. The games we bring are UNO, Jenga, checkers, and Apples to Apples. It is so nice to have the family be out in nature and off of phones, tablets, and computers. This is perfect I'm the only one out of my family that has gone to camping yup you read that right. This summer I'm planning to go camping with my siblings it will be their first time camping. And I looove camping have a long list of what to do and what to eat. So this helped on ideas on what to take

You have a beautiful spirit. I have those lights, store them in a clear shoe box wrapped in a T-shirt. It seems though that on every trip I have to replace two or three bulbs.

Boy you just took me back in time, my mom and dad always had a travel trailer, we pulled out trailer from Ohio to Myrtle Beach SC, our camp site was right across the street from the ocean, it was a dream! And when they got older they parked it permeant at a camp ground. Ohhhhh the memories. Have a fun and safe trip.

My camp ground is quality in. Lol no bugs! My mother in law was the best camper . She would cut and season potatoes put them in tin foil and just throw them on the grill so her breakfast was like going to Dennys. I hope yall have a blast. Happy mini vacation!

(I am more of a camper kind of gal... more comforts built-in.) Keeping the food cold and cooking it is my challenge. I have seen everything from electric skillets ( handy to have to fry eggs, pancakes, hot dogs or burgers) to crock pots to people using their oven in those huge 5th wheels (the kind that has flat screen tvs... bump outs and the works... maybe that IS their home... who knows.) Coffee maker or something to set over a flame, percolator type. Flip flops for the shower/bathroom. Ear plugs (for those car alarms accidently set off ... or the very early risers starting their cars.. and general noise in the am... ug.) A good book or two and a lounge chair. Hopefully your campsite will have some shade. Have fun!

We always have so much fun camping! Its the perfect excuse to disconnect from the phones and enjoy time with family and friends. Enjoy the trip!

I love camping! We have a small camper (nothing fancy)! We used to go all the time. My husband doesn't enjoy camping so now that our children are grown we no longer go. Luckily for me my sister and her husband still go so I always crash their camp site and enjoy the fun. lol Have a fun trip!

I love the fans! Camping in big bear we always get attacked by ladybugs. Ouch! Those sucker bite. With the fans facing us theu dnt get near us hehehe

We love camping! My hubby grew up camping with his whole family and introduced it to me....it’s been 25 years! We have gone from basic tent camping to a pop up back to a bigger tent and a few years ago we bought a 42 foot trailer on a permanent site at an awesome family friendly campground complete with activities, pool, and restaurant! It was super affordable and just a little over an hour away from home! We go every weekend from April until October!! Camping has helped us create so many memories!! I can’t wait to see the vlog of your trip! ❤️
