Statistically the number of vegans in the world compared to the comments complaining about hunting animals isn’t quite adding up… I’m suspecting a lot of self righteous, uneducated folks here in the comments section.
Also, would you rather the moose be ripped apart/eaten alive by a bear or pack of wolves?
Y’all need to do some reading about hunting and how much hunters and fish and wildlife do for animal populations staying healthy.
Ignorance plus high emotion is a losing combination in life, people.

I do not hunt but I have witnessed animals being killed for food multiple times and for me to eat. As a young man my moms brother, my uncle that Is, raised beef, pork and rabbits on his five acre ranch on the outskirts of San Francisco Bay Area, up north in Vallejo ca. once a year my parents bought a whole beef from him for slaughter. It filled up our kitchen freezer and the bigger freezer in our garage. Kept meat on our table for about a whole year. It was good flavor too. Plus you know it was organic. All were grass fed along with some grain. One time I did a taste test. Went to my local Safeway grocery store. I had to purchase safeways best ground beef to match the natural flavor of my uncles beefs. Both were fried without any seasoning. You never knew where grocery beef originated from. I knew where my uncles came from and without any government interference. So I don’t hunt for meat but I didn’t always get it from a store either. The meat has to come from somewhere, so what difference if one hunts, raises it for slaughter or buys at the store? It the individuals preference, so quit harping on the hunters. Oh and while on my uncles ranch I would plink tin cans. Shooting IS fun.

The eco freaks introduced wolves back into the land to eliminate hunting. No over population = no need to hunt. Colorado population dropped from 14,000 to less than 1,200 in a decade. The whole industry is collapsing for outfitters and guides.

I quite often see anti-hunting comments in these sorts of videos (and on facebook posts). here's some good info on that...
hunters in the US provide about 600 million pounds of meat - high quality protein - annually, including about 8.1 million donated meals.
also, thanks to state wildlife management based around hunting, wildlife populations have increased dramatically, including:
> ducks & geese from near-extinction in 1900 to 44M;
> wild turkey from 100k to 7M;
> pronghorn from 12k to 1.1M;
> elk from 41k to 1M; and
> whitetail deer from 500k to 32M

That Moose was asking for it. Did you see the knife he was hiding behind his horns. The moose was ready to use it so the hunter plugged him. Moose are dirty fighters.

Outstanding shooting. I wanted to ask you guys a question regarding moose calibers. I have heard varying opinions regarding minimum caliber sizes and the distances they should be shot at. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks again and keep up the great work, especially with the wolves.

Why not neck shoot it the first time, this is the second video I have enjoyed of yours, the first was the elk, and on both occasions you took a heart shot first but dropped the animals with the second?

Have you considered trying the Norma Bondstrike 143gr in the PRC? I got a bunch of them fairly inexpensively ($54/100), after coming across them in forum discussion. Seems like they have a form factor similar to the 142 ABLR, but the construction is more like regular Accubond...open quick, but stay together and drive deep. I've been loading them for my wife's CVA Cascade in 6.5 PRC, right at 3k fps they give roughly 1/2 MOA pretty consistently.

Wife wants to hunt elk, likes the PRC because it shoots flat and accurate, and with a muzzle brake, kicks about like my 6.5CM. I figured a bonded tipped bullet should give her the best chance to make it to the vitals even if the shot isn't a perfect broadside.

My grandparents filled our families freezer with moose meat and salmon every year. Im a shooter but havent hunted yet, so excuse my ignorance. How did that first shot (great placement) not drop him ? I second guessed myself and thought perhaps it had missed. And why the follow up shot to the neck instead of the chest again ? Asking for knowedge sake and no experience in hunting.

If you don’t like hunting that is your prerogative ,what I don’t understand is why you’re watching a video with the words moose kill in it ,that’s like watching a boxing video and complaining about guys hitting each other,makes no sense
