Mr Sands, one brief question, what about using weighted gloves (above 18oz up to I don't know) for hitting the heavy bag looking for a build up of hand speed? Thanks in advice once again for sharing your knowledge. Greetings from Spain.
ОтветитьLove your content.
ОтветитьYou remind me of my ex manager, he was from North London. Good and clear video though!
ОтветитьYou looks like ref
ОтветитьHey coach! I've been watching your videos for some time and you've really done some improvement. Don't misunderstand me...you've always been very good but now you are even better! Peace and keep it going.
ОтветитьBoxing looks fun...
ОтветитьI always learn a lot from your vids. Thanks for all the work you do!
ОтветитьCan’t find your video that explains the slip is similar to the start of a punch .
ОтветитьThank you so much!!!
ОтветитьLoved it. Thanks
ОтветитьReally thank you for this video 👍🏼
ОтветитьEffective and elegand..thenk you.
ОтветитьHello, What would you say is the best way to read punches to apply slipping and rolling within a fight ? Great video .
ОтветитьWhat a great instructor. Good work lad
ОтветитьTha I you sir you've helped me to better able slip
ОтветитьIt’s actually against the rules to bend at the waist??? So what about all the different styles of boxing? Do all fighters fight hands up in the armatures
ОтветитьTyson:Coach,I got it,I will correct
Ответитьcheers mate your vids are helpful
ОтветитьWhere is your gym at?? Think I’m get passport.
ОтветитьGood fundamentals. We don’t need fancy stuff.
ОтветитьI have to say, as an MMA enthusiast I really appreciate that old school kind of boxing coaching this channel offers. There's a common idea that you can't really incorporate head movement in MMA or kickboxing because of risk running into kick or a knee. This isn't true, what is true however is that there is very little margin of error in these sports. Headmovement has to be perfect, because if you slip to much on the side or roll to deep you eat a kick or a knee. It's good to practice solid fundamentals for any combat sport imo.
Ответитьgood tips
ОтветитьAwesome Instructor !.
ОтветитьNice video like always ty :)
I would love to hear your thoughts about James toneys defence.
He does a lot of crazy stuff. He often bend at the waste and turn away from the opponent, almost showing them his back at times.
Great teacher
Ответитьamazing!!
ОтветитьHey thanks alot coach for real! Any tips on application for boxin in an unorthodox stance (myself)?
I hear always that same theory applies, but overall not exactly. I have found that things need to modified to avoid getting hit,
and avoid being in the wrong lane for entry, and/or plane for exits.
You are great sir..
ОтветитьI do love the ingenious breakdown you can tell you have a lot of knowledge about this topic but you talk about what not to do more than what to do why? Boxes get in trouble doing this tell us the right way that's it 😁
ОтветитьThank you very much from Germany!!
ОтветитьBeautiful thank you
ОтветитьThis is no good guard
ОтветитьWhy does our right foot turn when slipping to the left but our left foot doesn't when slipping to the right?
ОтветитьThank you sir.
ОтветитьI've gone through 20 channels and what was surely 50 vids looking for an in depth slip and punch tutorial but this is so much more! thank you Fran for what you do for all of us seeking knowledge on the topic of boxing!
Ответитьgreatly explain , i was searching for a video which chan explain about postures , this really helped me a lot 👏👏
ОтветитьThanks for showing us appreciated definitely made an improvement and difference in my style of boxing.
ОтветитьKeep posting plz
ОтветитьThis was incredibly eye opening!!
Ответитьdope
ОтветитьHonest question, but is this even correct? Telling people to over rotate to slip punches and not hip bend. Then when he demonstrates his lead hook, his weight is on his front foot and his back foot is on his toes.
ОтветитьThanks for the lesson, coach! If you were in my city I'd be there every day to be the best I could be
ОтветитьI agree!! I hate seeing people drop their hands when they slip left and right. They only do this because in their minds it looks super cool. I would never teach that and will always remind a fighter not to do that.
ОтветитьI like how he explained the footwork in detail
ОтветитьYou're a god damn legend for doing this and having this look easy as pie. NOT EASY
ОтветитьThanks Coach Sands 🥊🥊🥊
ОтветитьSimple, clean and direct. Excellent pedagogy in play.
ОтветитьOut of all the slipping videos I’ve watch this helped the most. Thank you. 🫡
