Personally I prefer the pixel because of the aspect ratio I traded the z fold 4 for the pixel and although software is lacking in some areas I find it alot better to use

I am torn! I went from the fold 4 to the pixel fold... I absolutely love my pixel fold.. moreso than the fold 4, but googles mobile ecosystem is meh.. The pixel watch only gets through a day, so general fitness tracking is tough due to slow charging as well. I also have issues with the pixel earbuds disconnecting when I put them in the case. On the other hand Galaxy ecosystem feels a lot more refined. Better watch all the way around, I actually own the tab s9 ultra and is my laptop replacement.. It's not like I dislike the galaxy fold, I've used them since the fold 2.. In the hand it's actually much better. I just like the way the pixel fold looks more and the dimensions of the pixel fold are more practical for someone who uses both screens evenly... tough choice.

the Z Fold 5 is so much more optimized overall compared to the Pixel Fold. Not to mention Google has a horrendous track record with new types of hardware/software

I use my pixel fold like a phone first before a tablet so it makes more sense for me to go with pixel fold as typing and doing basic things on that narrow display on fold 5vwas just too annoying it pisses me off....lol

I choose the pixel fold as the outer display is better to use

Samsung shuts off your apps to save battery. You need to shut that off

Both these phones are crazy price with crap specs. I look forward to the oneplus open.

I have to charge my z fold at least 3 times a day. My pixel fold i can make almost all day without recharging. The pixel fold battery gets better after a month of use. Not sure why 🧐

Was an easy choice for me, really really came down to 1 component...."availability".....Samsung were kind enough to have the fold5 available to purchase here in Australia, Google as of today still hasnt🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤣😂🤣😂

The funny thing about all of this is that nobody's talking about apple. I just placed my order for the fold 5. I wanted to wait a while for the future option. I have big hands and prefer bigger phones. I have been a Samsung fan from the beginning. From note 3 to s22 ultra. I got a $1000 discount, so there's that. Couldn't pass that up. Hope it's worth the wait.

The Pixel phones (6, 7, and Fold) all use a Samsung modem. The modems WILL DISCONNECT from the network. It doesn't matter if you switch SIM cards or factory reset your phone. These phones are defective and Google knows about it. I bought my device straight from the Google website (brand new) because my carrier doesn't offer the 512GB version. am warning you now that you will waste your money if you buy any of these devices. Samsung don't even use their own modems more than Qualcomm's modems. That should tell you a lot.

Pixel looks so outdated in comparison to z fold , vivo x fold, magic v2 , find n2 , mate x3 , mix fold 3 and phantom fold.

I'll never any Google phone ever again. I've given them too many chances. Pixel 1,2,3 and 7 pro and they all turned out to be 🗑️. Google is a great software company but for hardware they can't compete with the big boys. I just got me the fold 5 and I love this thing.

The camera (primary) tested here looks like the Auto HDR was turned ON for the Samsung hence it looked little washed out albeit exposing shadows and highlights more and less contrast. Just turn the HDR off and it would look natural.

Really high quality, genuine review :). Personally I'd choose the Z Flip, because although I'm a 100% a pixel fan, the Pixel Fold is just not optimised enough yet. Once we get a few generations in, and recieve much more software support and flexibility, I hope my opinions will change. But for now, well done Samsung

I've been using Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and now the Fold 5. There are 4 things that I am hoping Samsung will do it and make it happen. The crease will be less invisible, bigger battery, fast charging speed and better camera. Nani.🎉

The only thing I like with the Pixel Fold atm is the wider outside display, but I still believe people should get the Galaxy Fold because Pixel Fold is just the first edition so there is a lot of things it needs to catchup on. Regardless, none of them are bad, and it might come down to personal preference, but I would pick the Galaxy Fold
