I am very anti religion in politics. Does that mean I am intolerant ,yes . I have limits of tolerance that are abused . Am I likely to change this view ,not without divine intervention. It is a right of being British ,that politics and religion are separate. Does this mean a person of religious belief cannot be in politics , no . All faiths tolerated under the law . Nationalists who say otherwise are breaking that understanding ,redefining what it is to be British . Reform is probably the most dangerous party out there, having genuine concern about immigration and how its managed is one thing...but so many of them use that as their opener before starting a sentence like "i'm not racist but..."
