I followed the instructions from the box … it didn’t work. Found your video and I was connected in less than a few minutes.

A note for other poor Thrift store shoppers like me.  Look up your model number and make sure that it has wireless Connectivity. Some of the older models don't at all or need an adapter plugged in to the machine.  Mine did not need an adapter but it needed to be reset to factory default settings. To do that go all the way to the left hit setup go all the way to the bottom it says resetting. The next option click on reset to factory default settings. Go all the way to the bottom and click on all settings. I had to do a software update  after I connected to my network which should work now after following this guy's instructions.

Wow what a bunch of illiterate Boris' 😕 I can't get past the amount of stupidity I'm witnessing here. Follow the damn instructions. If you've thrown them away there's most likely a pdf file online for your make and model. Try resetting your player back to the factory settings and start over. Please learn to spell correctly too. Some of these complaints are atrocious. Good luck people 👍😉 !!!

I have the BDP S3100 and I cannot connect even though the front of the player says wireless LAN built in. Why is my internet access failing and why am I unable to connect via the Wireless Setup (built in)?

I bought one of these models in a thrift store but it had no remote. Any way to access controls from the front panel? They just seem to be basic controls like eject and play. The main menu showing wifi does display sometimes but no way to select or press enter that I can see without the remote. I'll bet buying a remote would cost more than the $7 I paid for the machine.
