Question, what exactly is the “rules based international order”? Who made these rules and where can I look this up?

G-7 nations used up their domestic sources of Minerals, long ago.
Now they appear to desire Russian Resources.....
That makes the conversation much simpler....

He said that it was boring to talk about the 2 percent minimum for nato. WELL it’s not boring to the American taxpayer. We have funded the defense of European countries for 70 years. While Americans paid for your defense at a staggering (trillions of dollars) amounts of money,Europeans were busy providing national health care ! While Americans who don’t have free national health because of the billions it cost to protect Europeans countries. The free ride is over, increase your tax levels and pay for your own defense. America is fed up with paying your bills!!!!

Europeans complaining about a big nation changing the borders of smaller nations when they've redrawn the world's borders for centuries? They're still doing it even now, they just don't like it when others start redrawing them back to the way they were.

Not one of these people discuss (or even mention) the primary cause for the escalation of this conflict, NATO expansion.
Failing to address this problem reduces the posssibility of finding a solution.
They discuss war, and more war. Hugely disappointing.

“however the situation in Ukraine will end we will need to deal with a big reconstitutes Russian forces at the border of nato” Cavoli the actual supreme allied NATO comander dixit.

however it end it does not end with a diminished Russian forces an if it are not diminished by the current war attrition as mr Cavoli forecast I see no historical ( not Russian history but generally world history ) reason for a arm force to stop until it’s achieved it’ strategical objective in this case “ demilitarization and denazification of Ukrain “ as stated officially by the Russia. And it the option of a non-Russian non-NaTO rump Ukraine as a buffer between the 4 new Russian oblast and NATO it’s not on the table as mr Cavolli admit the other option that a enlarged and “reconstituted “ must achieve before they can stop is to reach the current border of NATO in the western Ukraine this means completelly “pacify “ and “demilitarize” Ukraine , israelian style as in in Gaza and west bank .
also if Moldavia will continue it’s actual pro NATO course due to the current split of Moldova it’s theoretical possible to consider Transnistria as the requested hard buffer that may be sufficient if there are no real NATO troup deployed in Romania with a significant vanguard of special forces and local supporting militia in Moldova that seems currently to be the NATo course if action.
Meaning that for this scenario to work Moldova need to behave in manner similar to Belorussia, or at least as Georgia as a soft buffer doubled by a Romania behaving as a soft buffer.

this scenario will request the absence of a strategic NATO forces and prepositioned resources in Romania with advanced elements in Moldova that means that NATO will agree to constitute a buffer half on it’s territory half on Moldova and the demilitarized Ukraine.
NATO does not seem inclined to do this therefore is very likely that the “demilitarization “ and presence of advanced NATO support element in Moldova and the presence of a important NATO contingent with significant heavy weapon stockpile in Romania will convince Russian that their arm forces need to borders to reach the Moldova - Romanian border in order to guarantee the demilitarization of Moldova.

And the Russian “peacekeepers” with some support from some local drafted militia will guard the ukrano-moldovian border with NATO and guarantee the “demilitarization “ of the Russian’s demanded buffer zone.

This is the future that mister Cavoili forecast with the “reconstituted” Russian army at NATO border because it’ s not conceivable that a “reconstituted” Russian army will agree to return to the antebellum status quo, not while it’ s strengths it’s not exhausted and this is exactly the opposite of what ‘reconstituted” means

And a bipartisan buffer zone half in Ukraine & Moldova and half in NATO does not seem currently political viable.

“We are going to have a situation where Russia is reconstituting its force, is located on the borders of NATO”

Well, NATO moved it's borders right next to Russia. So Russian aggression must be stopped. At all costs. 🙄

Why NATO want to expand its border?. That is why Russia is also intent to expand its border to prevent NATO coming close to it. This is well known in all diplomatic circle.
