Being married to someone does not mean automatic consent to any forms of sexual or physical intimacy. Within a marriage relationship, consent is still necessary every time you engage in any activity involving your partner.
Any sexual act by one partner against the will of the other is a form of domestic violence under the Malaysian Domestic Violence Act* and SHOULD be recognized as rape.
*According to Malaysia's Domestic Violence Act 1994, compelling someone by force or threat to engage in any conduct or act, sexual or otherwise is a form of domestic violence.
