Its ok to live in a Van than those people who lives in the Street
ОтветитьGreat build. Cute little girl! She sure looks happy.
ОтветитьIt doesn’t look to be such different than when people live in gypsy caravans or wagons .
ОтветитьI love how you have created separate areas!
ОтветитьI don’t think this is a good idea when you have a child. I would live in a studio apartment before doing this. Child Protective Services can take her kid away.
ОтветитьWhat do you do for an address? Eg for vehicle registration and insurance.
ОтветитьIt's hilarious all these folks are condoning her choices as an adult.
ОтветитьThis is exactly what I’m trying to do as a single mom 🙌🏼 so much inspo!
ОтветитьShe might be mad, but not as mad as the high cost and rents are!
ОтветитьShame on her boyfriend for putting her pregnant woman out on the street. Good, she found a solution to her problem.
ОтветитьIt's great as long as the kid is small, but once he's a bit older he deserves more space than even the worst of the worst criminals have in prison. Plus there's things you have to consider, like I read about former "bus children" talking about how their parents having sex all the time while they were in the same bus traumatised them. She is single, of course. I think its an amazing solution for a period in your life. And she absolutely turned it into a beautiful home. But it's not the right space to raise a child for their entire life.
ОтветитьI think she's doing great and is a planner
ОтветитьI would prefer a box truck, but that's me. I think it's a great idea, you've got to have disposable income and your child isn't hanging around housing commission etc.
ОтветитьLovely Mum and Bub. Keen to know about the toilet and shower setup tho!
ОтветитьGod bless❤
ОтветитьI had set up my SUV to live in. I had a mattress, a camp stove, a three drawer dresser, a cooler, a black out curtain, ready to move into. My mother saw it, asked what was going on. I informed her that I was going to move into my SUV, so I didn't have to pay rent, utilities, water, she got angry, said she would pay my rent. She's been paying my rent for 6 years, so I don't pay rent, utilities are included, so I've achieved my goal, but my parents pay my rent.
ОтветитьMaybe some day people will question why some live in vans and a few individuals now are close to being trillonairs in dollars. Who needs a billionaire and what good are they for society. Some CEOs now earn 1000 times their. Average employees. Musk just decided to give himself 50+ billions and if you know Tesla only made 25 billions in all of its existence it’s a bit weird. Shareholders complained and a court stopped it!
ОтветитьGreat video, thank ❤❤❤
ОтветитьConsidering this life Bec my addict downstairs neighbor brought bedbugs into the apartments and the entire building in infested here and the landlord doesn’t care about it at all I can’t afford to have them removed so I’m planning to leave asap I’m just looking to save enough that I can get an a/c for my cat so she’s not in a hot car and then some other odds and ends and then I’m leaving I’ve already made up my mind to take that leap if I don’t like it I can always go an get an apartment I just can’t put up with living here anymore
Ответить❤
ОтветитьSo beautiful that her and her sweet little boy are cozy in their traveling home ❤️❤️❤️ pray guardian angels to surround them every where they go and provision in abundance coming from every direction ❤️ blessings!
ОтветитьCan someone take this kid away from this scab and give it a real home?
ОтветитьGOD PROTECT N SAVE U SINGLE MAM JUST PRAY WORK HARD N U WILL SURVIVE
ОтветитьWhere do you have sex. The kid will hear everything
ОтветитьNot seen that layout before. The side door is usually so central but i see this works well for them. Dam good build.
ОтветитьHow crazy is this lady ~ her son will want to start walking soon, then what is she going to do. This is ridiculous and very unfair on her son.
ОтветитьI just love the idea of not having to work so hard just to pay rent and sleep there and be at work most of the day so you arent at the house anyway. I have too many dogs to live in a van though but one day a boat would be nice. Or a big horse truck conversion 😊
ОтветитьWhat happens if the van breaks down? Or get into accident?
ОтветитьI also love your zest for life to be free with your son and enjoy life without being tied down. Your van build is brilliant. Also I love the idea you’ve also got a boat. That’s fantastic I love Boats. Keep enjoying life. 😊❤️
ОтветитьHow dare you! Only the wealthy are allowed to be this free
ОтветитьI actually feel quite annoyed with her comment though to be honest. Im a lone parent and manage perfectly well. I have to work a bit harder but i didnt have to resort to live in a van to have a nice life. Bottom line is, dont live in London, rents are extortionate. Its much cheaper in other areas of the country.
ОтветитьIlove it
ОтветитьThis is an interesting way of living: had a few questions for her tho/
1. Can you park anywhere and live there for any number of days or are there any restrictions?
2. What about toilet and bathing facilities in the van?
3. What about the safety aspect, especially at night that too with a little child?
4. Now the child is small, but what happens when he needs to apply for school place / catchment area etc?
All the best thanks!
breaks my heart seeing fatherless homes
ОтветитьI have virtually the same van as Beck (former mk7 minibus), so was intrigued by this one. There's still a fair amount of exposed bodywork internally, e.g. the back doors, which could do with insulating and boarding/carpeting otherwise they will condensate badly in the cold. But it looks like a great build and an interesting layout. Good on her for creating a more viable life for herself and her little boy.
ОтветитьWillow is such a handsome young man! Thanks for the tour.
ОтветитьI just imagine how hard it is to do that with a kid on your hand...
ОтветитьSoon we're gonna be living in tents guys so... buckle up!
ОтветитьIs this only possible outside the US? They're starting to criminalize it here. :(
ОтветитьHe shouldn’t be up front… extremely dangerous and illegal. Is it safe? No judgement just curious… single mother and of two. I want to do this just don’t see how you would travel around.
ОтветитьI would do the same thing if I were single. Just my opinion, not fair to a child. A van is not really a home. No bathroom, no TV, no social interaction. Playroom. Maybe I’m wrong. I couldn’t do it.
ОтветитьI did this over twenty years ago before it was popular..I worked for minimum wage and didn’t want to use my whole check for rent
ОтветитьBeautiful! Thank you for sharing her story! What a beautiful mother and baby.
ОтветитьWhere do you park? Is this just overnight or for a long period.
I so want to do this but im 75 and everyone keeps telling me im too old.
where is the father?? 😢
Ответить❤
ОтветитьGovernment be like , you want to live rent free and not have utilities, and we can’t be involved in your life, not on my watch haha, only thing, kids don’t stay small forever. I lived in a 400 sq home with my 8 year old and in three years he is 5’3 and we just out grew the space
ОтветитьIt's sad what has happened to a basic thing called a roof over our heads. :(
