Highly intelligent, young, sweet, energetic dog…basically a great dog, but entirely without training. If you don’t know how to raise a dog like that it can turn into chaos very quickly. Needed and needs lots of structure, a job, structured play, and plenty of exercise. He’s not being defiant, he’s bored out of his mind. Grabbing and running is a game to him. He’s making his own fun.

He's not only teaching the dog. He's also teaching the family.

This is our dog right now. We have been doing the techniques shown for months and in the moment it works and he listens. But the second our backs are turned he steals and destroys everything again. Phones, tablets (electronic and medicinal), clothes, tv remotes, coasters, cushions, shoes, just anything he can get his mouth on. He also seems to be taking forever to toilet train and will do it in the house if we don't leave the door open from morning til night. We've got to the point we've had to block off most of the house with gates and leave the front door open all the time. Unfortunately we are close to rehoming now because we've reached the end of our rope.

What kind of fools believe this is a "golden doodle" (as the owner of a golden doodle).

Obviously, one can see that Cesar is mostly called to ritzy homes in ritzy areas where he can make more money. I doubt very much that he would waste his time on simple folks. I'm wondering if they have to pay for his expenses to travel, as well. Why would he waste his time helping the less fortunate?

How the f... is he a dog trainer?

We have the same issue with one our dogs. He's a goldendoodle as well and was my fiancé's dog before we met. He loves to eat clothes and go looking for food/garbage. I've trained every dog I've had to grow out of this except for him. For most part now, if I'm home or in the room, he won't go for stuff. But if I leave for work or go to the bathroom, he'll go looking and sometimes get stuff even if my fiancé is right there. He has learned to open up the dressers in the house to get clothes out too. I've tried to train/discipline like I have with previous dogs n it works most of the time for me but not my fiancé. We've also tried using a spray on stuff to deter but he seems to disregard it. Any ideas on what I can do?

If you have a dog that does this--1. Why leave the bedroom doors open 2. Why leave laundry where he can get it...etc. Seriously?

OMG! I have a mini identical version (looks/colour/behaviour) of this dog, and guess what ... his name is Murphy too 🤣🥴! I have gone back to basics with my Murphy, using Cesar's techniques and there is more respect and calmness. Kudos to the dog trainer who reached out to Cesar.

Easy fix put a muzzle on him

The way they try to get the socks out of Murphy’s mouth is me trying to get my arm, hand or foot out of my almost 4 month old Goldendoodle. Starting training classes this weekend!! Myself and my Mom’s fiancé are both on blood thinners so our arms are a MESS!!!

Is crating or collar zaps the only way to keep your dog from counter surfing when you're home? We have never had to do such a thing with our many dogs, they are extremely content and on voice command till our newest sheep-a-doodle rescue? Isnt there other ways? SNEAKINESS when we are gone and we rarely leave and never for long but this is our only issue with her.

Cesar, I’ve watched many videos on puppy training and hear lots of talk but little demonstration, and you on the other hand goes for the roots of the problem, it happens to be us humans who are 5hE problem. I watched a video of you at your Ranch, and by God, you have a Noa’s Ark there and all seams to be trained. The only one I haven’t seen if a FROG, but I think that with patience you probably would train one too.LOL😂😂😂

I assume the family are playing up to the camera? I can't believe anyone is that lacking in common sense that calling their dogs name whilst running after them and getting the kids to join in, then wrestling the dog to the ground thinks this will help? Shut the doors, remove items out of reach, walk the dog properly, stay calm, reward calm behaviour , will go a long way.

"He figured out how to open doors." But you can't figure out to simply change the doorknobs.🤦🏼

ANYTHING on POTTY TRAINING a new puppy ? NOTHING seems to be making ANY difference with this one . Our OTHER dog is even disgusted .

This is my dog literally everyday. Plus being destructive. Been trying to train since 1 month but still nothing. The worst thing is we don't really have professional trainer in my country.

Well that is all good my dog is the same she takes taking my socks Towles you name it but when I or my husband take to take it from her she trys to bit hair standing help.

I’m confused.. I couldn’t see what you did when you caught Murphy. I heard you saying shhh shh shh and you had the bread or sock in your hand. I couldn’t see if you blocked the bread so he couldn’t see it or …? How or what made hyper Murphy just calmly sit there looking at you? There has to be more to this that the camera didn’t show. I have a 4 month old Dorkie who would be grabbing at the sock and or not letting go of what he finds where Murphy calmly let you have the item. Can you please explain more clearly this steps to follow for hyper dogs? I’d really appreciate it. Thank you. Mom of Jackson my stubborn but happy little cutie.

Our doodle has starting biting us. Now we are leaving her outside which hurts to do. She is 80lbs simply put we are scared of her. No NO one will take her but the dog pound and we don't want to put her to sleep. She is so pretty and loving but bitting us eating my furniture has me LOST. My daughter loves her but terrified of her. I am lost so lost HELP someone. The odd thing is she is the perfect dog when a male is around.....mmmmm
