This was a great video, especially with you filling in the gaps and adding in extra context and stories, I love how quick everybody switched up on the Young Link idea 😂.

I think your sets against Hbox and Leffen at Paragon Orlando were some of the all time greats imo, you nearly made the reverse 3-0 comeback against Hbox after gambling on the new Fox when Peach and YL were out of the equation, then did it again vs Leffen! Even though they won, both of them were shook after their sets and it showed in the following years.

Your comeback against Shroomed at Smash N Splash 3 is also massively underrated. Down 2-1 against his Sheik as Peach after a dominant game 1 landing a stitch face 3 times and a taunt (and some funny entrance lines from both of you before the set), then pulling out the Fox and winning the hext two games handily, no one talks about the Foxmada clutch though.

I actually wish you would’ve solo mained young link. Just for one tourney. He really is a really good character that I don’t think deserves his placement on the tier list. The edgegaurding, ledge trapping, mobility, and a combo game that has a 0 to death for every character. Give me back my prime on melee wish I never played ultimate sometimes😢

Bro, why are you commenting on a game you don't play anymore? I simply don't understand the logic. You are either interested in it, or not.

Examples from my head when Armada did the “counter pick outplayed”

- Against Leffen at Smash n Splash 4 , Leffen counter pick FD and Armada switch from Fox to Peach and stole that game
- In 2015 vs Mang0 , Armada just went Fox for the Ditto and after the win , just gave a win vs the Falco , and then the Peach gave Armada the 2-1 , and then sealed it vs the Fox.
- He even went Fox vs Shroomed at Smash n Splash after going 2-1 down for a clutch 3-2 win.
- Even at Genesis 3 , Armada start up losing the set on the Fox ditto vs Mang0 , and after that he pulled the Peach out , won game 3 but lost game 4 due to a SD , and in Set 2 Armada close it out on Game 4.
- The most memorable ones where when we saw the Young Link vs Hbox’s Ness lmao. We also saw the Young Link vs Hbox’s Fox too at CEO lmao. The surprise counter pick to the Puff at Genesis 2 was like one of the big brain moves that was ahead of its time.
- Oh and the counter pick vs Bizarro. Fox couldn’t make the cut so Peach comeback again to save the day.

wish melee had more content besides tutorials and combo vids. we need more historic stories, promotion of new storylines and new engaging content if this scene is gonna survive
