RIP Boss see you at the Reorg
ОтветитьThe same guy who ordered the shooting to death of 9 unarmed civilians in Ballymurphy, Belfast in 1971 and the slaughter of 14 unarmed civilians in Derry, Northern Ireland on 30 January 1972. This is not my opinion. Both of these facts were established by public enquiries conducted by the British government itself. Bit let’s not allow facts to damage this psychopath’s glittering image.
ОтветитьGOD bless this giant of a man and we pray for him in JESUS’ precious name.
ОтветитьThe problem we have thanks to the EU / NATO the UK destroyed our own military and we no long have men of true grit like General Jackson. RIP Sir the last of the best.
ОтветитьIt is never good to break out war for so many people's life ,
Leader shall stop war to be peace .
When we had a military and politicians who understood the complexities of geopolitics.
ОтветитьJames Blunt (yes, the singer) played a big part in this prevention of WW3. He was a high ranked officer and was on the front line during this negotiation with his Russian opposite.
ОтветитьJames Blunt stopped the war.
ОтветитьHi did stop wor baut is good for. English rashija bi destroju dont look for trabll
ОтветитьApparently not.
.....
.
RIP
ОтветитьSinger
ОтветитьWent so fast mind blew out thinking it up
ОтветитьWith all due respect to General Jackson, and his very distinguished career, you Brits really need to stop retelling this abjectly absurd story about him “stopping WW3 with Russia”. While he did do an excellent job handling the situation with the Russian troops, the outcome would have been exactly the same had he followed General Wesley Clark’s perfectly legal and rational orders to blockade the airfield. That said, he’s lucky the Russian military forces already present were too badly organized, trained and equipped to challenge him. In addition, James Blunt needs to stop taking credit for having had an outsized role in the matter.
ОтветитьServed under him 80s/90s parachute regiment 🇬🇧 R.I.P. Sir a pleasure to have served under you. I salute you.
ОтветитьThe illegal war by NATO against Serbia is nothing to boast about.
ОтветитьEvery time I put my phone on silent at work, he comes to mind. RIP
ОтветитьBritain think they can rewrite borders with impunity but in reality there is no such place as Northern Ireland, there is only the island of Ireland.
ОтветитьA soldiers officer..Excellent leader...
ОтветитьOne of the pantheon of great British generals.
ОтветитьTobias Elwood Lt col of the 77th brigade
ОтветитьRIP,
SIR!! 🫡
I met him a couple of times in Kosovo. Very interesting person!
Massive respect 🫡
So Elwood was a middling officer at Sandhurst then and the Paras weren't interested 👍
Can't ever admit anything can they😂
I met Gen Jackson in KFOR film city HQ on my first tour, down to earth proper leader that didn't need to remind anyone he was an officer like some jumped new Lt or Capt.
Men like him are few and far between .RIP Sir .
ОтветитьBest commanders are pacifists, why? Cos its easy to be tricked into fighting
ОтветитьThank you for your service Sir. Bless you. May you rest in peace.
ОтветитьI’ve heard about this General before…very smart of him to not follow the orders…🫡🫡🫡
ОтветитьA real character who liked a tipple or two, but a BRILLIANT LEADER ,RIP SIR I SALUTE YOU

ОтветитьTobias at least you tried for Para reg. Ended up being a Hat. Never mind.
ОтветитьIf Keith Floyd and Nigel Farage had a baby, you'd have General Mike Jackson.
ОтветитьRIP Mike. True Airborne soldier.
ОтветитьYeah the people of Derry will miss him.
ОтветитьTHE ENGLISH STOPPED A WAR....HAHA ARE YOU ON DRUGS. THE English DO not know how to spell the word PEACE
ОтветитьThe hypocrisy of Ellwood. Its the Tories - Cameron and Osborne that massively cut UK Forces.
ОтветитьRIP in peace sir and thankyou for your service and character❤️🙏
ОтветитьEngland has never had a general!! Just want to be 's!!! England is yesterdays news!! England's best days are way,way way over & way way,way behind them!!!
ОтветитьThe way we were 😊
ОтветитьHe was my boss in NI. Great bloke, the sort you'd follow anywhere.
ОтветитьWhat a LOSS - a grave loss for UK.
ОтветитьMy son and I met him at his book signing; a charming and charismatic man.
ОтветитьA General most noted for a tactical surrender.
ОтветитьWhat a warrior he was, no nonsense bloke. RIP General MJ 🫡 🇬🇧🟩🅰️🅱️🥃
ОтветитьGeneral Mike Jackson said that the British Army held the ring as the Loyalists and the Republicans battled it out. He did just that.
I grew up in Belfast during the Troubles and I can assure all viewers that without the sense and determination of this man there would not have been peace and power sharing in the end. He was vital to that conclusion. I also owe this man for making people able to go to work and college and hospital safely during even the worst times of social unrest.
Only a small minority of Irish people want violence and its getting less and less. Respect to Mike Jackson from Ireland.
