Alway interview babysitters, get a BACKGROUND CHECK and make sure they are CPR certified... friends and family are fine but all the above really needs done either way. You may really never know who a person is and many are skilled at lying or pleading for money/jobs using your heart strings. Your child's care should always be top notch. The woman that left her baby in her care is partly to blame for putting her baby in a potential dangerous situation and learned that the hardest of ways. What a nightmare situation.

This is sad and insane!

She goes from “omg hes DEAD??” To responding to “when did you know” with what seems like admission to knowing he’s been dead for a long while, completely discrediting her own fake surprise at this being “new information”

Her fake crying is creepy. It got creepier when the detective asked “what did you think would happen” when she gave the baby back to his mom, she smiled and said “idk”

Tho, it says she avoids using the word “k*ll” but at the hotel she said the word several times .I mean, she’s totally still lying but that piece didn’t make sense to me.
The psychological explanation for avoiding certain words makes sense, but she did say it already.
But it also says she starts showing genuine emotion when she says the word, but to me she seems as fake as she has the entire time.

The detectives here are amazing. Props to them for not just screaming at her and calling her bullshit right away, knowing she was lying from minute 1. Like there was 0 doubt it was her fault, and the entire time they’re very “understanding” to her side of the story and very empathetic, I would have LOST it on her.


Tbh Adam has anger issues but he seems to genuinely care about what happened. Part of me feels kinda bad that this insane woman was the reason all his kids were taken.
Dudes got issues of his own for sure, but he’s definitely doing his best I think. Maybe after getting some help of his own his house can be deemed safe to see his kids again.

Having experienced abuse as a child is not a reason not to suspect this woman. Often victims don't know any other way to parent & the abuse continues to be passed down thru generations.

Also, I wonder if the mother of the dead baby knew her sitter's kids had been removed from her custody? If I knew that, no way would I lrave my kids in her care!

I say "And then" throughout most my conversations. Cause I suck at talking, I'm very insecure when I talk. Haha

Wait...she had a previous CA incident with her own child 3 months prior to Benson. Why would anybody leave their baby with her? If they were friends the mother and sister would know about this.

I wonder if she threw him in the pack and play she had in her bedroom, or the larger one , in the other room. It would have been a much harder fall. Also if he cried at first, did she do it more than once. Detective said many traumas to his head, and a broken bone. That poor innocent child, it’s so horrible what happened to him 😢

Sooooo.... none of these people were aware she had lost 4 of her own children? I just can't.... its gotta be so hard to leave your babies with people you don't really know, I'm lucky and was able to stay at home with mine til she went to school.

It's hard to believe that her boyfriend wasn't more involved in the murder. It’s as if she'd invented the fact that the baby died before he arrived at home in order to protect him... And you don't go to McDonald's with a dead baby to incriminate yourself even more; she could have pretended to be tired so that her boyfriend could go alone.

This is a mess! Her smiling while fake crying she looks like the child killer from the movie black phone, ugh this so sad. I have so many questions. Why was she even aloud to babysit children? Why was she able to keep her child?. What happened to the other child that was in her care that had a head injury? Why is this the 3rd time cops are dealing with her about injuries on other people’s children.
