One thing we know for sure, he definitely got lucky that night.
ОтветитьAs someone who is just learning to fly, I can tell this girl is going to be a great pilot because of her great instructor. This kid is a great pilot and a great instructor and because of that she's going to come out of this training with all the tools she'll ever need.
ОтветитьI’d be interested to know whether the mechanic who checked the engine after this flight could identify what caused the failure.
ОтветитьThis is a good instructor.
Compared to some of the instructors shown on Pilot debrief who were very impatient and were not that interested in instructing, but in getting their log time in.
Great instructor
ОтветитьSo what was wrong with the engine? What happened?
ОтветитьIsn't it amazing how when people's lives are in jeopardy, they know who to call out to and or thank: Jesus. He is mighty to save! Whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. (Acts 2:21)
ОтветитьFantastic mate well done you did amazingly well
Ответить👍 Handled that situation like a boss. 👊
These videos are getting me the urge to go tske a few pilot classes. Looks amazing
By the sudden engine shaking and sound, it look like a cylinder missfire. What was the issue with the engine? Amazing recovery and i am happy for both of you :)
ОтветитьThis girl is very lucky! I don’t think that should be something that happens to everyone… She’s lucky she had this instructor and that she’s alive!
Ответить100. I hope all student/ instructor were in harmony like that. Great job to both!
ОтветитьWhat differentiates the pilots actions in the emergency there from the impossible turn?
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful couple. Great job in maneuvering the plane. Take her to dinner . God bless Jesus.
Ответитьthose lil fickle beech crafts and Cessna single engines are temperamental ..we all know that
why are they so surprised?
what is the instructor like 19? What a JOKE this world is. Letting this KID fly
ОтветитьI think your giving yourself a hard time yes your first emergency but you smashed it young man smashed it
ОтветитьBravo !!!
Ответить"Thank you Jesus!" indeed
ОтветитьWhat was the issue with the plane, actually?
ОтветитьAwesome job. Both of you did very well.
ОтветитьI woulda been out the window with my parachute!
ОтветитьHow long has she been your instructor? do you have to wait till you are 21 to get your license?
ОтветитьBTW---SHE was great too...immediate realization there was a problem, immediately verbally acknowledged the controls were his, didn't panic ....she will make a gre3at pilot I think
ОтветитьGREAT job!!! It also looked like he kept the nose up as long as he could after touchdown to bleed off speed....just Awesome
ОтветитьWhat can we say? Perfection doesn't exist, but this was a spot on perfect reaction to an emergency situation. You kept your cool and that is the basics to handle such situations!
ОтветитьMaximum human performance, amazing to see.
Ответить⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nicely done, Baron Pilot! Definitely earned a subscription! 👍
ОтветитьFabulous job. Calm. Relied on your training and instincts and flat out nailed it. Proud of you and I don't even know you. Always wanted to learn to fly and if I could, you would absolutely be my only choice for an instructor !
ОтветитьImmagine to have a hibrid motor with battery only for emergency i the combustion engine Fail !
ОтветитьGreat job, instructor and student both. I was just watching another video where a condecending instructor seemed to do nothing but berate his student and both ended up getting killed in a storm they should never have flown into. You handeled this professionally and remained calm through out the ordeal.
ОтветитьYou both did great.
Ответить"Thank you Jesus!" Amen! Love it!!
ОтветитьThat girl should never fly…. Look at the panic she did at the first emergency…. Raises her hands and gives up!
ОтветитьSHE WAS SHAKING. panic is the enemy
ОтветитьMan!!! He should be teaching CFI’s
ОтветитьThey lost a cylinder. This engine was a four-cylinder aircraft engine but then, for some reason they lost a cylinder because a exhaust valve was stuck open or something. Please correct me if I’m wrong. No hate on me.
ОтветитьBigger take-away…. So what was wrong with the plane?
ОтветитьIncredible young man!
ОтветитьThe real human factors bit. Is You don't know. Until it happens you won't know.I like to think I know because i've been in earthquakes and other disasters. I still froze when I was landing a PA-18 on my first flight and on short final the Instructor handed me the controls. I think he was hammering into me hard, that I was a noob Who thought too much of himself.
ОтветитьMatt the steely eyed missile man. Well Done! Both in the emergency and your instructional style.
ОтветитьGREAT JOB!!!
Ответитьrespect for both of you. hat off, perfect landing.!
ОтветитьThe stall input on the rudder.......which ever wing runs out of air first then opposite rudder regain airspeed and hug the yoke.
Ответитьguy looks so young to be a flight instructor
ОтветитьI know I'm an old fart, but that instructor looks about 15 years old to me. LOL Also, he never "Thanked Jesus" for killing the engine in the first place, did he?
Looks like this "kid" did a great job. I don;t even fly, but if I did I'd want him teaching me.
Incredible flying, i wonder who the instructors instructor was?
Ответитьwhat was the cause of the rough engine? From seeing what was going on it appeared to be a “stuck open exhaust valve”, which I have had 3 of those in 4700 hours TT.
