The part where Feline/Jade and ALR cooked dinner- sometimes people use foil containers because it’s easier to clean up versus using real dishes. I go to plenty family events where foil containers are used. I also want to comment that people do serve other veggies outside the typical traditional Thanksgiving vegetable- ie my family from the south (Georgia) makes collard greens. Cabbage might be something Jade’s family makes. Just saying. 😊

re: th fire department coming on thanksgiving - about 8 years ago, my morbidly obese aunt (350+) came over on christmas and had thrown out her back, so she decided to do some back stretches (on her back... on our floor) despite us telling her not to. she couldn't get up and we had to call the fire department lmfao

What Amber never seems to understand is that “normal people” do not eat the way she does, most people don’t get takeout 2-3x per day, along with all the other snacks and binges. She sees a “skinny person” eat a bag of Cheetos, and thinks they must be able to eat whatever they want without consequence, when the reality is those people are eating in moderation with balanced diets. And most people move and exercise a lot more than she does. It’s just like how she equates cooking at home to hamburger helper. Most people aren’t eating that every night, and if they do it’s the recommended portion size, not the whole thing.
