I got 5 in a row in a 1 hour session walking in a park

yeah i hoped there would be more raid spawns, not just two or three in the proximity. I got a shiny Ray though, and on the same evening shiny Meltan, so not complaining

i was lucky enough to get a shiny one 😅

Didn't get one since not enough people showed up to defeat

I noticed that the pokemon around me to catch have party hats on 🥳

The thing i like about the ex raids over elite raids is that I didn’t have to worry about trying to meet up with enough people take down the Pokémon. Since about 20 people got the invite at a selected time as to the other one you would hope to get enough people in a chat group to respond to meet up at a particular location and a certain time

I got lucky I live in a rural suburb but there's a big park near me that has, like 10 elite gyms in it, and a few more within a short (5-10 minute) drive from it. So Mega Ray was a pretty good day for me in terms of chances. Luck....not so much. One shiny with meh IVs at best.

You'd think someone that makes a living off Pokemon GO would know how to properly do a shadow raid. Why are you still spamming charged attacks while it's enraged? All you're doing is giving it energy to 1-shot you while you do no damage.. just dodge until it's subdued.

in long beach we ran a train of attest 15 vetches drive we hit 9 from 5-7

I spent most of the day in the hospital. I was at least hoping to be able to remote to help my small community. And I was by myself and couldn’t do a single raid. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately I didn't screen shot it but I actually got a meteorite from my fist raid but no shiny, I got two the best one was a shiny 14/15/14 but I actually had a like 3 run even with excellent throws this time around so pretty mad but I'm glad I didn't spend real money and now I have 2 more meteorite for when I eventually get a perfect shiny or normal rayquza, here's hoping for next time. I do hope they give more development love to this game if they expect 10+ years.

Had zero raids spawn at 2 elite raid gyms in my town

I done 8 raids. One shiny. And the shiny was the only one that I’ve caught.

I work at a local hospital, and I unfortunately had to miss getting any of the mega rayray. I still don't have a shiny of it and it would have been nice to get meteorites. Idk why the research was timed, at least give us the meteorites to incentivize us to get it in the future. I guess ill have to wait again lol

Ive had a hundo rayquaza since it was last in rotation and i still cant get the candy for it.. :(

The elite raids only spawned in Ex Gyms. These are limited and most communities have none. To make it worse, there was one raid per gym, either at 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 5:00pm or 6:00pm and not a new spawn during each of these hours. I got absolutely nothing from this event..🙁Hope you guys did though.

kinda wish the time was more spread out 12 and 1 was busy and by the time 5 came around i was really tired and while i joined a raid with 4 other people but they left and i was like im going home

I live on an ISLAND and only 5people play pokemon go and 3of them including me have good counters

I was in Valencia, Spain when these happened. There were only two I could make it to, and the second one gave me the shiny. I'll treasure that one for life.

We all love Pokémon. 100% But Niantic does sadly have some terrible issues. And Elite Raids is in the top two depending on the day. Praying they will maybe create a $5 pass that would allow you to use remote raid passes to enter elite raids. I hate to have to pay more money but at this point that's about the only way a rural player wih no car and one gym is ever going to be able to elite raid. Thanks for the video.

Worst event ever! Because their was none that hatched at diff hours they all hatched at 6pm. We already reserved inside out 2 tickets so it's either Pokémon or Family time. 💀💀💀

Well, because the whole point of the game is to get out of the house and play with your friends, but the thing is most of us don't really have gyms close to us and that means we won't be able to do anything that's why remote raids are a go to thing for most Pokémon go players out there and since there is a lot of shadow raids and elite raids or something like that most players just gave up cuz what's the point of being home all day wanting to do a really cool raid with your friends and you can't that's one of the reasons that I almost gave up but I did not.

I was only able to do 2 raids. First one gave 200 energy, second... 175. I'm so angry right now just thinking about it, the game screwed me over twice in a row. They forced it to local, making it hard to blow through raids quickly (making it harder for the best reward), and they limited the amount of rayquaza spawns so it just becomes hell to even find them.

People wonder why spoofers are so popular nowadays.

Also that the “free” meteorite they gave us wasn’t actually free and we had to complete it in UNDER 1 DAY. Another worse thing is locking Pokémon behind a paywall like Marshadow.

i love how i live in the 3th biggest town in the country i live in and absolutly noone plays this damn game, the only way i am going to be able to raid is vIa geting to spend some cold earned cash for remote raids,adding randoms and usinng apps and websites for raiding, insted off walking next too my local gym and gust hang around and raid. amazing vibe. Bulgaria needs help

I got 4 and played all hours

Had to drive to a big town to a huge market space to have a chance to even find people to topple it down. I got 1 and had to call quits, next spawns in the town were like 4-6h appart which is idiotic. Why couldnt it be a dialga thing, all raids are Ray and you can do remote, local what is an option for you. My small town nearby had 0 people in any Ray raid, so if I did not go to that big ass city 60km away I would not get it either. Niantic is screwing up the game with each update. Game is dead localy, gym 50 coin daily system sucks, no special spawns, remote costs way too much, they f...d up the avatars to be for noone. Spawns are not exciting, raiding is not exciting becouse you are not rewarded for the effort to even go and play localy, you will not meet any special pokemon nor will you meed legendary birds. Niantic has no idea what they are doing anymore.

literally zero mega rrayquaza spawned in my town during that lame ass event. even IF one spawned, i couldnt do it alone cause theres just not enough players around playing.
