Ответитьhey its my 11th day today i have started from 1st of December. I feel light right now. And along with sugar i have quitted maida, fried food and packaged food.
Ответитьi absolutely love being off sugar! few weeks in (probably 2, i didn't note when i started) and i don't ever want to go back! It has helped me lose weight instantly (water weight) and i feel look and live better. But my concern is my sugar blood levels. I not only cut off added sugar, i cut off fruits as well.
I eat only vegetables, bread, cheese, meat and carbs (only a little, because they break down in your body into sacharids)
I'm going to donate blood in 2 weeks, and i have to have a good blood sugar levels, but considering i only eat max 5g of sugar per day, i have concerns...
any tips?
If you think cutting sugar try this, Stop All Carbs, Sugars, Plants, and Processed Foods and you will see a much better results! I just whish I had billions of dollars so I could afford to sue everyone for all the lies throughout my life. I am 72 and have been lied to all my life, the people that spread the BS should all be in jail or worse for all the lies about health and nutrition!

ОтветитьI do not eat refined foods, do not eat ever take out nor bakery products, nothing packed and pre-made
So actually I only have to get ride of sugar in a way stop craving sweet like cookies, cakes..
Now I am day 5 no sugar, but I do no eat fruit (just berries) because even it contains fiber and minerals, it contains sugar (sucrose), nor I do eat any kind of complexed carbs
Just legumes (lentil, cheakpeas)

ОтветитьI can do a week and then lost it when the winter took a visit. I'm fine with that tho. That's what happened with me quitting all social media (expect here), I did a week, here and there until now where I am currently at 5 months and don't even miss 99% of it. Same with the gym and caffeine. Got to two months without caffeine then winter hit. BUT what has sticked, is eating 5 portions of fruit and vegetables most days of the week and having 3 glasses of water a day. I actually enjoyed not having added sugar, but I think I will wait until the kiddo is in nursery (in January) to do it again. I now have 1 latte in the morning and 1 hot chocolate in the evening. Still, since coming back, I prefer the healthier food.

ОтветитьThe biggest no-brainer for me was to completely delete all alcohol from my life, and after 18 months the change is night and day. On quitting sugar, I can attest that my sleep is greatly improved, and my skin looks much better. The best tip I ever got was "only shop from fresh food sections on the outer edges of the supermarket and avoid the aisles" (unless you need cleaning products or glad wrap haha).

My experience so far: No added sugar, no honey, no jaggery powder. No other means consuming sugar except fruits or food. I too have a brain fog issue which is getting better, calf pain is reduced, and constant energy levels throughout the day. Honestly, I did not feel bad or have any sort of withdrawal symptoms. In fact, I started feeling better within two days and the more days went by I was craving less sugar. The only sad thing is that I did not taste the birthday cake of my one-year-old.
Can we have a video on any new benefits you're experiencing? Im on day 58 of no sugar :D
