we can all agree that even lcd is better than hard oled.

Why does my eyes hurt after using the OLED screen? anyone having the same problem?

I have an LCD replacement recently. Visully it is outstanding. It functions great 3D touch, respnsiveness all at pair as original. But two downsides:

1) If you look closely you can see horizontal lines hat are not present on original screen (this is likely a reason why text sharpness is slightly reduced comparing to original).

2) Battery lasts about 30% less than in comparison with original screen.

While I do not mind to much 1), I am considering returning this screen and buy different replacement LCD because of the 2).

Is it normal that LCD screen replacement will eat more battery than original? Perhaps I was just unlucky with my purchase?

IPS LCD is easy for the eyes and it's not flickering like OLED .

Stay away from hard OLED. Picture quality is so bad i might even replace it even if it is fully functional.

An LCD is not a good option for a phone that is meant for OLED/AMOLED in any means. They are completly different technologies, and they are not that interchangable. I had treid LCD Aftermarket Replacement on a Samsung Galaxy A51, and in the start it was ok, the screen was pretty poor in colors, but other than that good, but less than a week later, while using the phone, the screen just straight up started changing colors and have vertical lines all over the screen, and it was all a mess. Probably something on the screen chips got faulty or some other things, but I’ve treid LCD Aftermarket Replacement on a Samsung Galaxy A70, and it was the same thing. The way I see these Aftermarket Replacements, are a cash grab mostly. Better stick to cheaper OLED/AMOLED Aftermarket Replacements.

Thanks man! Now i understand. I had my Girls IPX. The repair guy said its OLED, but the colors are really dull and the phone feels hotter when browsing since having the display replaced. I think this is LCD REPLACEMENT. I feel so disappointed. 😞

Hey i cracked my screen yesterday and i got it fixed today by some guy. Idk why... but my screen looks different and my iphone is not charging fast like it used to be...I REALLY LOVE this phone so it’s extremely upsetting that i trusted my phone to the wrong person. This is why i am here today to see what replacement did he use
